Mission Raceway April 24th
This friday SHOULD be the new official opening day at mission raceway, weather is supposed to be awesome and they have had enough good weather now to finish the track.
Gates open at 4:30 racing starts at 5:30, try to be there by 4:30 because you need to get through tech and the earlier you are, the smaller the line up.
To race its $30
To spectate its $5
Mission residents 19 or older are free to spectate if they provide I.D.
Few rules that are strictly enforced that apply to many.
1)All vehicles must have seatbelts
2)Drivers must wear full length pants and shirt (no shorts, muscle shirts, tank tops, open toe sandals or clothing made of nylon type material allowed) T shirts OK.
3)Drivers of cars running 13.99 or quicker are required to wear an NHRA approved Snell 2000 or newer helmet (Note: As of January 1, 2007 the Snell 95 helmet will no longer be legal to use at NHRA / MRP race events).
4)Passengers are allowed in vehicles running 14.00 seconds and slower provided they wear their seatbelt and a Snell approved helmet.
To see the full rule listing visit this link: http://missionraceway.com/mrprules/08fridayrules.htm
I hope to see you guys there, its a blast, trust me!

its weather permitting. During the summer it stops at 11pm but i think its going to be too cold on friday for it to go that long. Also u need to get there before 7 if u wanna race, thats when tech closes

meh they didn't really do any thing..updated the pcm with some new program from gm but didn't do anything for the problem i went in for ..and the check engine light for misfire at idle they just said they cleared it and thats it (because they don't know whats making do that and they kinda stopped careing..said it was because stage 2 was installed and "excessive wheelhop" even though its happened since day 1 before the stage 2 kit and everything else..and wheelhop would not cause this because its AT IDLE /rant lol ) but so in short form = yes i will be there racing

We be parking by the finish line on the racers side, see you there.
Try and leave by 4 so you can get there before the line up gets big
