Sneaky Cops
Just a warning to those who live around or drive in Port Moody, Friday I was driving down Ioco road and low and behold what do I see, a brand new (unmarked) silver Dodge Charger has someone pulled over, I looked when I drove by and the lights in the back are hidden in license plate area and the ones up front are in the mirrors and the bumper, they are not visable at all unless they are flashing.
they ahve had that for a while. in surrey and langley its common to see ford freestar and dodge caravans, while on the freeway between langley and chilliwack watch out for the chevy pickups. i know of at least 8 different 1500-2500 extended cab 4x4 pickups. dont think they are slow either, ive only seen em with 8100 and duramax badges

Haha...We have mini vans, chargers, mustangs, trucks (all Diesel(sp))...they do try to get tricky. Here you can normally tell who is who in da zoo cause they all look plain jane and have those steely rims with performance tires. Oh...and the plate stickers are all black.
It's even worse when they drive a beater. I have seen cops in AZ on the highways using OLD early 90's Ford Thunderbirds complete with faded paint and bad wheels. No doubt a repo, but great at catching people because you never see them coming!
Some cops around here hide inbetween cars at the dealerships on the rows that are right next to the road. The unmarked units are just plain impalas. no steelies no push bars and regular nh plates.
The Charger belongs to Intergrated Traffic devision of the RCMP... Intergrated Traffic DOES NOT have a home base. They travel where they please and KNOW all of the spots that regular city cops do not!!!!
Trust me, I do a lot of driving every day for commuting and I've seen it all. Clear sunny days, don't bother doing 1km over.. you'll be hooped.
As for Rainy/cloudy/night/foggy any other condition other than clear/sunny, you'll be just fine with a radar detector.
Some under cover's I've seen from Burnaby RCMP, VPD, Chilliwack RCMP, Mission RCMP and Intergrated Traffic Unit are as follows:
1993 Dark Blue Chevy Beretta (THAT'S RIGHT I SAID BERETTA!!! Lights hidden in the grill, paint is peeling from bumper to bumper like you wouldn't believe lol) Spotted in Mission mainly.
2007 Silver Honda Civic Coupe Spotted in Mission/Chilliwack/Burnaby (probably intergrated traffic)
2007 Dodge Charger Silver (Seen driving between Vancouver-Coquitlam)
2006 Dodge Magnum Dark Blue (VERY UNDERCOVER, saw the cop wearing a sport jacket, shirt/tie/pants, got out and threw on his RCMP Hat+Florescent Jacket... SNEAKY SNEAKY!!)
2005 Chevy S-10 Black with an N on the back. (Intergrated Traffic unit between Coquitlam-Vancouver)
Lots of 06/07 Dodge Caravans (be aware, they are using L's and N's on the back)
Lots of 2006 Chevy Impala (police interceptor edition, HELLA fast)
BE AWARE, BRAND NEW 2008 WHITE CHEVY TAHOE. Totally undercover and catches A LOT of people off guard. Usually in the Burnaby Lakes stretch of highway 1. I think belongs to Burnaby RCMP.
I'll update my list as I remember more makes I have come accross in the past year.

Here in Kenosha, WI, the Sheriff has a top bananna dodge charger daytona in which they line up next to cars to try and race them, then pull them over for street racing. I work at the dealer that it gets serviced at, couldnt tell it was a squad till i got in it andplayed with the lights

Going along Clark Dr. (Southbound) just before you pass Como Lake Avenue in Coquitlam
Watch out for an undercover 2005 White Volvo S60 with No Window Tint
I thought it was a family car until his light went on pullling over a supped up Honda Civic
That's a very well detailed list Well Done

I love when they park there cars in peoples driveway then stand in the bushes with the radar gun, like going into New West, just before the turn off to 10th, when your coming down the hill just after you drive under the hiway (#1), or at the top of the hill on Austin just after the golf course, if your coming from lougheed mall.
The Cop in the Charger was a Port Moody cop, I can even tell you his name, Cst.Bailey. The port Moody cops are a dirty bunch as it is but this ones the pick of the litter, I have long standing history with him. He is worse than any crook out there, cops shouldn't lie to get what they want and shouldn't be above the law, if you didn't do anything then whats the point of making up some lie to say I did. Anyway thats another story kids the point is I am 100% sure it was him, so maybe its a Port Moody car above and beyond the intergrated unit
