yeah that's my big prob - run outta road I've had mine up to 240 K back on the island. She still had lots of juice left though.

 

I was racing my friends SRT 8 on the freeway and we were doing my speedometer and it said 160 but his tops at 180 and he said his said 175 and i was doing about maybe 5 miles less

I got mine up to about 192 km/h one time on the way back from Fort Mcmurray on a big long stretch of road. Didn't really wanna push it much farther..was revving pretty high. Lol

158 MPH on the interstate at 2 AM

 

Top speed for a stock 2.4L SS or G5 GT as far as I know is 210 km/h........haven't tried it though.

 

i got my car to 155 and its a stock ss/sc

 

got my stock 2.4 195km/h

 

70km/h.......on first gear......and i blow my engine cause i forgot to shift.....

are you sure that you didn't mean 120mph cuz i can do a 120km/h easily in 3rd gear in my 2.4 SS

 

145, when i passed a cop and had to take the next exit and run lol

 

137Mph for me then had to shutdown

 

I took mine about 148 or so. I wans't at all freaked out because the car felt really stable at that speed.

 

I've hit 150. cobalts are pretty aerodynamic i guess.

i've hit the top of my speedo at 260kph.

 

about 145, drag limited i think cause i had plenty of road left.

 

ive had the sti close to 200mph maybe over, at 165 maxed on the speedo its at 5700 rpms, and ive had it up to 8900rpms with a redline of 9200rpms

I was going between 130 and 140 mph for about an hour one night, I was driving home at like 3am on a divided highway, the only other cars on the road were the occasional transport truck. 2.4 stock. peddle touching the floor the whole time. I was driving all day and getting tired and I was like F*** this I want to be home.
