Group Buy Eibach Sportline Lowering Springs!
I might be up for something like this how long is it going on cause i just bought a hahn 3" exhaust and the funds a little lower than expected now and i would definitely hop on the GB if it would wait for me to get some money. thanks
Your missing the point though with the Pro Kit. If your going for looks, obviously the pro kit won't do you much good, however for performance it's a different story. The little bit it lowers the car helps to even out the control arms to create a more stable corning car. Also the spring rate is a BIG difference over stock. Much stiffer spring allowing you to hit those corners faster and not throw the car around.
so these ride hieghts are for ss/sc models or 2.2 and 2.4?? cause i believe there different for the ss/sc which is 0.0"-0.5 drop and the sportlines are 0.2-0.8 or something which is no good, since most people want to eliminate wheel gap, so im guessing the tenzo's are the way to go if they drop you 1.5-2" i think thats my decision, im allset with eibachs, doesnt seem justifiable to spend that kinda money on something that looks stock imo
Here ya go this was an old thread but they tell the difference w/ pics and all on a '05 SS/SC...

is it possible to mix springs from different kits? i want 0 front drop and about 2" in the rear. i'm sure spring rates and ride quality would be part of the equation...also, i do a lot of driving around with my pregnant wife so of course ride quality is a concern..perhaps I should just wait for adjustable coilovers? ($) there's a lot of drainage 'inverted speed bumps' out here in utah, so my front scrapes all the time. the rear's just too darn high for me, it looks goofy and handles weird. i drive in the canyons nearly every weekend, so i want something bearable when i'm not in the canyons, a bit lower in the rear, and stiffer/more predictable handling. i tell ya, sometimes you don't know which way a cobalt's gonna swing when you decelerate or accelerate on a turn. :P Progress rear sway bars and strut bars definitely help, but it's a bit unstable for my taste. i'm always nervous that i'm going to wreck the thing, i never worried about that in my Integra (KONI adjustables are GOD). my new rotors help with the deceleration a bit, but there's still too much suspension travel for my taste, mostly rebound. it seems to bounce after you go over a bump. strange, i tell you. anyone else agree? a bit off-topic, but i'll have to know for sure if these springs would be for me before i commit to anything. :P

I wouldn't recommend using diff springs from diff kits. No there are shipping on these. I don't have enough margin to give you guys free shipping. I will make a deal with you guys. who ever buys the first set gets them delivered right away. The rest will have to wait for the group buy to end.
Hey cobalt performance my buddy CPRAIDER wants to order his also but we were wondering if his shipment could be shipped out with mine because he doesnt really wanna wait till this group buy is over... If you want you can send them to my house along with my order since i made the first purchase and then youll have a second person buying these.....Im asking for you to give me an exception for the reason that im almost in all your group buys that you have had
Thank you max
