THMotorsports are the worst

Sent me some wrong parts to install my rear brake lines, wrote them on here and was told I'd need to email support, so I did. This is what you get:

We would like to acknowledge that we have received your request and a ticket has been created with Ticket ID - 35519.

A support representative will be reviewing your request and will send you a personal response as soon as possible, generally within 24 hours.

Then notta, zip, nothing more ever. Contacted them right after getting the part, and periodically for years now, and not once have I ever got an actual response from a person, just this stupid automatic message. Brutal.

They do, but after that many years you'd think they'd respond via email at some point. What's the point of having email and a stupid automated message stating they'll be in contact within 24 hours? At this rate be more like 24 years...

Plus the times I've thought.to contact them is always when I'm not working, which is outside their calling hours. Regardless, if they are directing people to email support, they should at least reply at some point. Wrong parts, crappy support system. Not exactly great..

So this happened years ago? And you're complaining now?

Plus do a little research before giving websites money. You'd find a history of bad service.

Still try writing them from time to time, whenever I know I'll be doing work to my brakes, but yeah, still no response to date.

Didn't do much research. Just seen people here doing group buys, and getting their stuff, didn't see a lot of complaints from.the threads I was in. Guess I missed it. Figured with lots on hear buying from.them, they must be half decent, but my experience could be better. Could have been worse too I guess. Seen this was the part of the forum to give reviews of experiences with vendors so... Figured I'd give mine.

Thinks it's pretty bad after this many email attempts over this many years, and notta after these stupid automated emails. Great system there.

Oh well, is what it is. Front brakes and cable for the clutch are installed. Not too concerned about the rear brake cables. Just a little annoying, since I bought them, and have them, but whatever.

Perhaps "the worst" was a little dramatic, but yeah, could have went better for sure.

I ordered some of my sbc parts through them, and more recently a efr supercore, and I can't say I have had any issues with them. Sorry to hear you did.

The WORST ever award goes to HIDwerks. Everything was either shippings fault or the customer. Ebay china parts at Mercedes pricing. Owner was a special guy.

Yeah, worst might have been an overstatement. I've defiantly had worse, but yeah, could have went better anyway.

Well good to know to avoid HIDwerks anyway. Not a lot of places left these days that actually.offer good customer service.

I can second the **** parts and premium pricing, I got tricked by him on parts before I knew any better. His markup was an easy 400%

Angry also bad experience with TH Motorsports

I had a similar bad experience with THMotorsports - they claimed they had a brake pad/rotor set in stock on their web site and I prefer to support small businesses over Amazon so I decided to try them out. I ordered and then they send a message saying they are "checking warehouses" all over to source the item... so they did not have it in stock, needed to get from their distributor. I asked for cancellation, they said they would in one day. Then I hear nothing, and no refund. Then they say 1-3 day in a response when I complained to the BBB. It has been 5 business days since they said they would cancel and they still holding my money for an item they do not have, do not stock, will not be shipping, that they promised cancellation on. Meanwhile my money is tied up, I cannot order elsewhere, I cannot fix my truck, I prefer to support small business... but if I had stuck with reliable Amazon or a reputable company I would already have my parts and my vehicle fixed! It is places like this that hurt small businesses everywhere and drive people to have to go to places like Amazon where at least they have decent service and actually stock the parts.

Call you credit card company and have them take care of it. I also find it entertaining you made an account on a cobalt site to complain about them not having parts for your truck...

True, but I order parts for my car as well, and I was simply adding my experience to a thread started by someone else on THMotorsports.
