ZZP review

Can't be any happier with the fit and finish of every ZZP product. Just got from them:

-saab lsk9 manifold
-lsj intercooler kit
-phenolic spacer
-boost controller
-dipstick and tube

All this was in addition to my lsj turbo builder kit. I should have gone full zzp turbo kit from the beginning and not screwed around

Ryan and Matt are some real stand up guys that helped me get this ordered and delivered to me in Miami within 4 days, yes 4 days from start to finish. I will update this thread with pictures of the finished install probably tomorrow. It's tuning time tonight

What did you end up spending by the time you were all said and done? I'm thinking it prolly cheaper to just buy the kit, opposed to going the route that you did?

Any hints for the manifold? Would you have needed the dipstick and tube? Keeping my options open in case I get rid of the rd fabs manifold.

Looks exactly like mine. Like you said Josh completely happy with mine, other than they forgot to ship my brackets. They shipped them right out as soon as they got the email. Great products, and Ryan helped me answering questions and Tim

You could rig the lsj tube but this just looks so oem. You will need an 8 pin 2.4 throttle body as well. So happy that Hahn manifold is off my car.

Thanks for supporting us Josh! Your a cool dude and a great customer!

Some people expect special treatment and others receive it. Josh is one of those people that receives special treatment. People feel that if they spend money that they are entitled to discounts and free stuff. That's def. not how it works. For those of you who don't know Josh runs out parts, reps out name, (on the forums, street, and shows) and also understands the products he talks about. Meaning he doesn't just make up non-sense to sound cool. It actually takes a lot more work to do these things then people think. He also never ask's for discounts or any sort of special treatment. To me, this makes someone deserving of discounts, direct contact (cell #'s) to some of us at the shop, etc...

That's not to say that we don't appreciate all of our customers because without all of you we woudn't be doing what we do. Sometimes you need to let people know they are appreciated.

Thanks Josh, keep up the good work and we will see you at CED!

That's the only thing I'm missing (more or less) from a full ZZP kit is the IM and TB. I'm thinking with all the troubles I've been having with the car, I should have just went with the ZZP kit from the beginning. Can't wait to see the vids.

You notice any differences between the Hahn manifold and the setup you have now? Throttle response, air flow, etc.
