For Sale '06 Laser Blue Metallic Supercharged SS w/ G85
'06 Cobalt SS/SC w/ G85 (Laser Blue Metallic)
The time has come to sell my 2006 Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharged G85 (limited slip differential and Recaro seats). The color is Laser Blue Metallic. The car has 83,XXX miles on it (mostly all highway commuting miles). It has been my daily driver for the past three years and has performed flawlessly. It is completely stock except for an AEM cold air intake which the previous owner put on (I’m only the second owner). Also comes equipped with a sunroof. This car has not been thrashed on as I have a different vehicle for that.
I am an ASE certified technician and have performed all the service on it that has ever been needed to be done except for the power steering recall which was performed at my local Chevy dealership (Rosedale Chevrolet) last summer.
-front pads and rotors and front sway bar links replaced at 60K
-mass air flow sensor failed and replaced at 80K
-rear pads and rotors replaced and brake fluid flushed at 82K
The rest of the car is mechanically sound with no issues whatsoever. No leaks, good power, and drives smooth.
On top of this, I have two different sets of wheels and tires. My stock wheels now have 225/45R18 Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Specs that were on for only 4 months last summer (over half tread remaining). I also have aftermarket Sport Edition CD 16” wheels with Hercules snow tires that have now seen two winters (about half tread remaining as well).
The car does have a couple issues that are all visual and can be seen in the photographs. The front bumper cover has an abrasive mark on the left side that showed up one day after school and has the typical rock chips that a daily driven car will see. The driver’s side switch panel has some of the silver paint scratched away and the passenger seat has a slight water condensation stain from a water bottle. A couple of the stock wheels have some slight clearcoat peeling as well.
As I am hoping to get this sold very fast, I am putting it up for $8,750 obo.
The price is absolutely negotiable, but please no trades. I need to sell it.
So as you can see, the car is overall in very good shape and has been well taken care of. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. I can get more pictures upon request. Thank You for looking!
