Ive decided to sell my car due to Finachal reasons and going to buy something a little cheaper. But someone will be very happy with the car. Its a fun car and a blast to drive. Great all year around and served as my daily driver. Car has 67,XXX miles on it and runs good. Im looking to get $16,500. Kbb says like $16,7XX for good condition and it better then good condition! and considering whats dont to it i think 16,500 is a pretty good deal.

I don't care about ure mods and nor will u get ure mmoney back foe them. Lower ure price to say 13k-14k and u might find somone. 06sti s are saling for 14-16k with mods and lowmilea a lot less then ures. But good luck.

those of you surprised by price must realize its a Subaru foreign car, your basically buying a BMW, seeing how Subaru's use BMW engines, and its built a little....lol..... a lot better then cobalts :p it really just depend on how good of shape its in i guess.

 

i thought the boxer engine was from Porsche.

16 is good price well in canada wrxs that year go for close to 20...

Subarus do not use BMW engines. Not even close.

A WRX is not a better car than a Cobalt. Just more money because its a Subaru. The engines are not all that strong and the 5 speed transmissions in them are junk. Clutches are also another weak point, hence why the OP's was replaced.

Porsche engines are "Boxer" engines. Porsche also makes a car called the Boxter, which uses a Boxer engine just like the 911 and Cayman do as well.

There is absolutely NO relation between Subaru's boxer engine and Porsche's boxer engine. Nor is there any relation between Subaru and BMW.

Comparing Subaru's boxer engine to a Porsche Boxer engine is like comparing a Honda Civic engine to a Ferrari engine. There is absolutely no comparison in terms of design, quality, power output, or strength.

 

So you are on a cobalt forum selling your WRX and then you say it's better than a cobalt. Good luck with your sale.
