When I got my 2.4 I got the sunroof, destination charge, side airbags for free and got an interest of .9% (middle of summer) and I still paid more for my 2.4 here in Canada than most paid for their 2.0SC in the US.

Car have always been more expensive here in Canada, and doesn't matter the strength of our dollar they always will be. I work with guys that have flown to Maine to buy Vans and Trucks for work and save like 15k.

Companies can try to make the argument that it is to compensate for the dollar difference, but our dollar historically is usually anywhere from .8 - .9 to the US dollar, and if they had the price difference set to the dollar difference we would always be paying less than we do.

That's retarded. But they do it because they know people will pay it. Not me, but some will.

the dollar is pretty much equal now, but we still pay high prices on products because people will continue to pay it.
