For Sale 2005 Cobalt Sedan TURBO (Garrett Kit) - Crazy Sleeper!
2005 Cobalt Sedan TURBO (Garrett Kit) - Crazy Sleeper - PRICE DROPPED!!!
*** UPDATE: Car is Sold. Thanks for the interest everyone. ***
Guys,
I am selling a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt Sedan (~78k miles). I took this car as a trade for my 1991 Eclipse GSX (heavily modded) hoping it would be easier to sell than the Eclipse, since it's running perfectly and is very reliable.
*** $5900 *** <--- Price drop: $5500 firm. I need her sold!
Location: near Atlanta (GA)
The car is currently on both Craigslist and eBay, but I wasn't sure if it was cool to post those links on here, so here goes the info...
This car is 5 speed and looks completely stock, however an expensive Garrett Turbo Kit ($3300 - link) was installed by an ASE certified mechanic. She's a blast to drive and pulls very hard, I had no idea these little things responded so well to forced induction!
This car looks completely stock, it is an amazing sleeper if you like to drive around without drawing attention to you but want to be able to pull hard on most cars you see on the street. The huge FMIC is almost impossible to see behind the front bumper, the exhaust is completely stock and very quiet and the boost gauge is hidden!!!
Besides the above mentioned Garrett Turbo Kit, this car has:
- TurboXS Boost Controller
- Custom Tuning done by Trifecta Performance (sent logs back and forth - link)
- SPEC Stage 2+ clutch (link)
- Custom Short Shifter
- Forge BOV vented to atmosphere, sounds great (link)
- SunPRO Boost Gauge - Lines runs off the manifold, very accurate
I believe that is it. All of this has 5k or less miles. Compression on the car was checked, perfect. Oil change done 3 weeks ago. Brake pads done last month. The power steering recall was performed already. Clutch has around 7-8k miles and grabs nicely, no slipping whatsoever.
The car is very clean and the interior has been shampoed completely. Looks and smells great. The exterior is in very good shape, some minor chips in the front (hardly visible unless you get very close) and a couple of minor dents, but overall looks very good. Rear tires practically new, front tires will need replacement soon.
This car drives perfectly, is very quiet and ridiculously fast. Very reliable, perfect for daily driving.
KBB value for this car with these miles is right around $5000. Since the mods alone (not including labor) cost close to $5000, you can understand how the asking price is a steal.
Please email or text with any questions: 786-2oo-ThreeThreeTwoOne. Clear title in hand, she's ready to go.
