i never tryed to clean the title, but i knew people that did that.
I bought the car with left rear quarter damage. I got all the damage fixed and it runs and drives great.
As soon as i get the chance i will post pictures of it.

I don't know about other states, but in PA a vehicle that has or has ever had a salvage title can NEVER have a clean title. It can have an "R title" (or reconstructed title), but you can never get a clean title for it. Also, it cannot be legally driven with a salvage title, at least not in PA. But, to get an R title for it you would have to obtain the repair records from the seller and it has to undergo a more thorough inspection and then you'll get an R title with no problems. For NY, you'd have to take state laws.
OP, what sort of documentation do you have on the repairs? Any pics before/after? How about a VIN number to run a Carfax report? $11,500 wouldn't be too bad if it already had a reconstructed title and I know someone looking for an SS/SC and might be willing to take a rebuilt one, but I know they wouldn't want to buy it until it was able to be registered and insured first.
