I'm putting up my 06 cobalt SS for sale. the car has about 82,000 miles on it. Has had regular oil changes (every 3k) with full synthetic Mobil 5w30. Car is very clean with clear title. No dents of any kind. has all black leather interior. The only things i can think of that are bad is there are some small paint chips from normal day to day driving and the check engine light is on because there isn't a catalytic converter or rear oxygen sensor because it is used for the air fuel meter. neither have any issue with the cars driveability. The rotors have recently been replaced within the last 5000 miles.
Has a few upgrades done to it but nothing to the motor. Things done to the car include:

-3" Custom full exhaust (header, catless downpipe, and catback with magnaflow resonator) all stainless steel
-Stage 2 transmission mounts (OTTP)
-Dual pass endplate and Option B tank
-Upgraded FE5 struts and shocks
-K Sport lowering springs
-AEM Uego wideband gauge
-LSJ upgraded clutch

For appearance i have done:

-6000k HIDs
-Blacked out front Chevy emblem
-Painted brake calipers (red) (Back left caliper is brand new, replaced about 500 miles ago)
-Painted wheel bolts (red)
-Painted supercharger
-Painted valve cover
-Debadged trunk Chevy emblem
-Painted 18" rims (black)

Does this car have the recaro seats and LSD Option (was an option package)?

My Son is looking for a Black Cobalt SS/SC he wants a 07, but we looked at a 06 today at a local Dealer and walked out on them over price, it was beat up body wise, boost gauge was not working and the painted mods were done like crap. lol.

 

It just has the black leather SS seats. Not real sure about the LSD option? The body is in great shape! I mean of course theres a few little dings and chips from daily driving but very good for an 06

 

Youd know if it had the Recaro seats, and if it had the Limited Slip Differential as they were part of an option package, I think it was the only way to get the LSD as part of the whole option package?

We'd have to fly in from the Chicago area and drive the car home.

He really does want an 07 tho. so an 06 would have to be fully optioned out.

May have a look at the Mods Blue 07 on here, Black is his first choice.

I'm supercharging my HHR Panel soon, so Dad (Me) is all for my Son buying a SS/SC and told him we can fly out to look at any car we want.

He works nights, so I will email him this thread and see what he thinks.

I knowq somw of them has the g85 with lsd but wwithout recaros

In 2005-06 G85 was Recaros and LSD.
In 2007 G85 was LSD.

Early model 2007 G85 can have the Recaros and LSD, but the majority don't. The Recaro contract with GM expired and was not renewed.

The car in this posting does not have a g85 package based on the seats UNLESS some one swapped out the Recaros for leather (which I doubt).

pull the carpet back in the truck right by the sub. There is where the option sticker is located. It will say g85 if the car has it. This, however, is more important to check for 07+ balts for the LSD option as it only corresponds to the transmission and not the interior.
