Hey people I decided to get rid of the cobalt and just get a less nice car and a nicer motorcycle. As it says in the title its a 2006 SS/SC G85 and it has 67,000 miles on the bitch. It still has the stock clutch on it I think but it still catches hard and there is absolutely no slipping. The car in its entirety is in great shape but it does have a few lingering problems.

Good Stuff
-Only looking to get $9,500
-Aftermarket warranty until 100,000 miles or ~2.5-3 years left that has all the major parts covered in the engine and tranny and whatnot
-Paint is in great shape
-Oil changed w/ full synthetic every 3,000 miles
-2 month old tires
-I am sure I could think of other things but you get the idea


Problems
-Check Engine light is on (something to do with the gas cap)
-Sunroof apparently needs a new frame according to the dealership
-The wheels have the standard cobalt flaking on them
-Clutch is old, but has no slipping and catches fine
-Some strange problem when filling up at the gas station, will explain if seriously interested. Not a huge deal.

its a clean balt with reasonable miles for the age, but the fact of the cel and sunroof are pretty big things. and when theres other balts listed from 9-11k that are mechanically good. i wud sit on it a little longer at this price but ull probly have to lower. and my stock clutch went out right at around 60k miles lol

I get the Check Gas Cap message all the time, there's a metal piece that sits at the begining of the filling tube that broke off, mine broke off when I was filling it up at the gas station once and moved the handle the wrong way...its nothing serious , look at another car's tube and u'll know when im talking about... Or might be a bad gas cap lol...

I cant do any trades lol I still owe 2000 on the car so i need to get money for it.

I'm planning on getting a lot of the mechanical work fixed with the warranty and hoping to sell it quicker. Ill be sure the tell the stealership about this lol

 

I'm going to take a wild guess that the fueling issue is where you have to **** around with the filler nozzle because it prematurely shuts off?

If so, it is a Delta platform issue. Both my G5 and Cobalt gave me trouble with that.
