Wink 2006 ss/sc w/ lots of mods $25,500 obo

Hi guys, this is the wife, he told me to go ahead and sell his car, so her I am. He's deployed now and will be for probably another 13 months and I dont get to drive the car often enough for it to be sitting outside and I figured, why not try to sell it and let someone else enjoy it, especially when the weather has been so nice lately and its such a fun car to drive. I would drive it more but its not much fun with an 8 month old in the back seat.

I have put his car up for sale and haven't had much luck selling it. Everyone seems to think I am asking too much, maybe I am. But it is best offer. This car really is a nice car, it has everything a car can have, except for maybe GPS and heated seats. The car is very clean and has around 3,015 miles on it. It has several mods that were done at the dealership and by us. Some of the mods include.. GMPP Stage 2, 2.85" Pully, Clear Image 4-2-1 Header w/ ceramic coating, AEM CAI, Corsa Catback, Autolite 3922 Spark Plugs, & SSC lowering Springs. Tinted windows, recaro racing seats, on star, XM radio, and a sunroof are also some very nice things I'd like to mention, but there is alot more. He even took off the hideous wing from the trunk, I'm not sure how you all feel about that, but it does make it alot easier to see out the back window. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I am asking $25,500 or best offer, which means I will take less. If you're interested in it, take a shot at it, you'd be surprised at the amount I'd probably be willing to accept.

people not offereing b/c of what your starting price is.. whether if its obo or not.. you initial price gives us an idea you are already a high baller... brand new you can get fully loaded for way less then 25k...

mods do not increase value of a car so asking more then what you paid wont sell it...

you will be happy to get 18k.. you more likely gonna see 14-16

i'm slightly considering the trade up... not really but slightly...

if you were more local (a good 3500 miles away!) i would come check it out. but as agreed above, i wouldn't expect more than about 18,000 max. brand new fully loaded go for about 21-22 in my area. so a used for 25,500 asking price is insane.

i'm only telling you this to help you sell, since you stated that you haven't had much luck. if you drop that asking price down i'll bet you'll get rid of it in no time.

free bump.

it's not right to come and bust up her thread like that. you never know if she could get someone to drive it, fall in love and buy it. I'll bet you will have more luck trying to sell it in the paper or some other local advertising. perhaps trying to sell it to people who already have one is the biggest problem that stands in your way here. maybe another forum for people who don't own a cobalt would be a better bet.

just trying to help.
