Let me teach you something about selling cars - people dont want to buy a car. They want to buy a story. Do you actually think anyone cares if it hit a guard rail or got side swiped? No, all that matters is how the car drives - if its flawless then its a sale. Doesn't matter if I was the original owner or I say I'm selling the car for my disabled grandfather that lost his ability to drive. I know there are a lot of ignorant kids on this forum and this is probably the only car they own, so they wont understand this.

Hes a kid. Probably 16-20 years old. Rich parents. They have nice cars, they let him drive on sundays. So he takes pictures of the cars, along with a girl hes been friends with since grade school that he will never get laid with (FRIENDZONE!) and calls them his own. Then mixes up details, gets caught in a lie, and tries to spin it a complete other direction and ultimately revert to name calling and throwing insults. In most cases the words "*****, bitch, and ***" are used numerous times.
In the end it just shows immaturity. Which is nothing new to this forum but one of the reasons why I and maybe other people come 4 laughs! (and knowledge at times)

I am in the car business. Having a Salvage or Reconstructed Title destroys book valve on a car by an immediate 20-25% right off the bat depending on how bad. When buying a used car, just having an accident on the car fax for a freeking broken tail light makes the car worth $2k less thats just what happens.
I traded a 2010 Toyota 4Runner SR5 with 20k miles 2 weeks ago, I dont remember the exact number we put on it but I believe it was about $29-29.5k. Forget to run the VIN, then did it a hour later after the deal was "signed" but not done. And found structure damage to the frame on the carfax. Called around to friends at the auction and at Toyota. They said with structural damage your losing at like $5000-$7000 of that price. She claimed it was a bumper and radiator that were replaced in a 15mph crash! We spoke with her insurance company and they valued the car with carfax in mind at $22k! We ended up around $24,500. Just shows how it impacts a cars value. And this thing is MINT!!!!!!!!!!! No shitbag primer. In the past 2 weeks, i had two deals on this 4Runner one at asking price (whic is $26,995) and the other a bit less, both immediately ran when i did the right thing and disclosed the car fax, and didnt lie about it. They didnt give a **** about some stupid story or how sweet the SUV was.
I havent even touched on the fact that 99.9% of banks will not finance a car with salvage/recon title and 99% of insurance companies will not insure that vehicle as well, at least not in my state of Massachusetts
