2008 Cobalt SS 25k Miles!!
Name: Tim Howard
Location: Manchester, MD
Means of Contact: PM or Text/Call 443-798-1270
Price: $18,000 OBO
G85 Package
Hello everyone, I'm selling my 2008 Cobalt SS with 25,306 miles. I love this car to death, but it's time for me to give her up so someone else can enjoy her.
I'm the third owner of this car. I bought it with 13,653 back in April 2010. Since I've had it, I've put a little less than 12,000 miles on her. The car is garage kept and is rarely driven. But the miles may go up slightly if the car needs to be used.
The car is in about as perfect of shape as you're gonna find. The only blemish that I can think of is that two of the rims have some curb rash on them. They were like that when I bought the car.
The only mod I've done is a K&N SRI. Other than that, the car is completely stock. I do have the stock intake as well if the buyer wants it.
I purchased new Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires back in May/June 2011 and I've only put roughly 6,000 miles on them. So they're practically brand new tires. I just rotated the tires in the middle of August last year. Oil and spark plugs were changed in February. Mobil 5W-30 Full Synthetic was used.
Please, no low ball offers. No joy rides! Serious buyers only. Thanks for looking!

It was VERY close to being modded to hell and back lol. Once the K&N went on, I had to get my back operated on and plans changed. That ZFR was awfully tempting though!

Very nice car but the price seems questionable. I just bought a completely stock SS supercharged with 35,000 miles for $8,200. (only issue is faded black paint) Looks like a fantastic car but I can't imagine you would get over 13-14k for it....?

No it was definitely a steal despite the bad paint...when you factor in a really good paint job would be $2500-$3000 it's not too hard to believe. The carfax includes mileage at every oil change and inspection by dealerships, going up a couple thousand at a time. Only 2 owners before me - last guy not a daily driver (just sat out in the AZ sun, hence the paint fade)
Despite my good deal, isn't market rate for a cobalt SS with low mileage closer to 12-13k? I think the highest asking price I've seen prior to this one is 15k.

I'm in the market. Only thing I'm worried about on a low mileage 08, is the fact that the block really hasn't been put through it's paces, and the possibility of a porous block issue scares me away from the 08's. I'll read some more and will shoot you a text next week.

The 09' build dates had the Porous block problem didn't they? That 08' should be fine. I have an 09' with no problems and I drive it...hard. Lol. The price does seem a tad high but if he can get it more power to him! Good luck with sell OP. It's a beautiful car, you've kept it extremely clean!

I haven't driven the car in a while now, so it still has 25,309 miles on it

Update time. Car sits with 25,812 miles on it.
I need to have the car gone soon. Starting a new job and don't want to have to rack miles up on the Balt. So I'm dropping the price to $15,000. I'm pretty firm on that. But I'm willing to negotiate a little bit.
So please, contact me with any questions or concerns. Text message with the provided phone number in the first post is the best way to contact me.

when hes asking 5k over blue book you sure as hell can comment. its like the notebook, you dont wanna get rid of it so ask an outrageous price knowing noone will buy it because its so high. when someone agrees to pay it you dont sell it because only a crazy person would pay that. you could get them brand new off the lot for 18.
