2008 SS/TC Victory Red
FS: 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS/TC
Name: Paul Hanson
Location: Machesney Park, IL (80 miles west of Chicago, right off I-90)
Means of Contact: email - paulhanson79@gmail.com or via cell 815-978-2850 (call or text)
Price: $11,500 Negotiable
Bank still has title, will need to pay off remainder of loan. Original financing through GM (Ally Financial). Will only accept cashiers check for total purchase of vehicle. Will release vehicle into your possession immediately, and title will come shortly after.
Car has ~56,000 miles. Stored winters. No engine or suspension modifications! I'm 38 years old and have owned multiple turbo cars before, this car was used as a daily driver for it's first two years and then only used as a weekend fun car. Never raced or driven on a track. I bought the car new from dealer in WI, ordered the car with every available option (including factory installed LSD) but the high spoiler. 30% window tint on all glass but windshield; driver and passenger could use a recover. I've changed the oil myself with AMS full synthetic every 3000 miles. New tires added last fall before stored for the winter, less than 1000 miles. Very minor wear for being 5 years old; some scratches and dings but nothing that I can catch with a camera well enough to show here. Will likely need new brake pads; other than that the car is almost perfect.
I apologize for the "not so great" pics, the car is currently under cover in the garage.

It's $1000 less than KBB because I want to sell. I'm only trying to be fair and sell the car at a decent price. Also, the front brakes could use a replacement soon and that will run the new owner about $300 for parts; I think reducing selling price for this small hassle is appropriate.
Please feel free to contact me via email or phone for more details.

No, I owe less than what I'm selling for. I wanted to be as up front at possible so the potential buyer is aware that I do not have title in hand.
I'm selling because I was given a company vehicle and will be moving south (Houston, TX area) sometime later this year. I'd rather not pay to have vehicles moved that I no longer need or use.

***UPDATE***
I went out to the garage to start the car since it's so nice out. Thought it could use a little sunshine. Battery needed a quick charge. Found out that the locks are unlocking and locking on their own. I called a friend at a dealership and he informed me this is a semi-common problem with GM cars and that it's the switch in the door that's failed. Only way to determine which switch is to take door panel off and disconnect one switch at a time to see if it keeps switching. I decided to replace both door switches instead of monkeying with it. So, new switches are on order and will be replaced when they arrive next week.

I'll post more pics tomorrow. Car is coming out of garage for complete interior and exterior detailing. Getting all ready for it's next owner!
