Could you possibly drive it to Fayetteville, NC so that the bank can look at it since it's a private party purchase?
I'm going to put in a finance app with USAA tonight to see if they'll approve it over the internet.
What kind of gas mileage do you see driving around town? Do you know the HP/TQ? Brembo brakes? And the PSI it's tuned at? Coming from a SS/SC, without a layered tune, so is it set up where cruise control on is the stock tune, and off is the Trifecta tune?
Sorry for so many questions, very serious about purchasing though.
Thanks,
Nate

Gas milage is around what it's rated for from the factory. I don't ever drive it in "tuned" mode. It's just there if I want it. Vince's tune from Trifecta is the stock tune when car is started but once traction control is turned off it's in "tuned" mode. Yes all turbo cobalts come with the brembo brakes. If you don't want it to be tuned I have the stock air intake and can flash it back to stock. Only reason I got it tuned was to be able to run the air intake without problems. I believe I currently have it set to 23 psi. But like I said I can have Vince up or down that. Oh and never had it dyno'd do don't know HP/TQ. I've never taken my car to the drag strip, auto cross, or any other type of track racing. Tune is just so the aftermarket parts work correctly and the lean down is disabled.

I don't have time to drive to Fayetteville, then if you didn't purchase it I would just be putting more miles on it. If the bank needs pictures of it or something I can send them to them.

Ah, I see. I checked the higher-res pictures and saw the Brembo calipers, sorry about that. Oh no, I'd like it tuned; the layered idea is awesome and I like that it can be stock or tuned on a whim. Do you know what it'd be safe to take it up to? Maybe 24 pounds?
I'm going to fill out the loan application here in a minute online with USAA, hopefully they give me the go ahead.

23-24 is about as much as you would want before you push the turbo past it's efficiency range. And it's a little more or a little less than 23psi depending on temp humidity etc.

Yeah already bought it, just waiting for it to be made and shipped to the USA. There's someone in the process of "trying" to buy it. I'll let you know what happens.
Appreciate it! I'm a solid buyer. I'm definitely the same way, as I wouldn't want to get jacked around.
Bump for a good guy, sucks that Navy Federal is being a bitch ass because of it being a private party sale and won't finance it.
I found a black 2009 SS/TC in Charlotte that I'm going to go pick up tonight or Monday morning...dealer offered $5500 for my SS/SC so I'm going to check CarMax and throw it on Craigslist I guess. They brought the price down to $14k and some change, but I'd still rather have yours Cam...it's so clean.
Sorry again man.
