Thanks guys.....I miss driving this car alot....had to get a new car tho for back and forth to work....test drove a new wrx....very unimpressed with that car to be honest....wound up financing a 2017 elantra sport....very good in the corners but just doesnt have any where near the power the SS did....very fun car to row thru gears in tho
I think we were messaging back and forth about this car.
Anyway i found the crash bar brand new if your up to the task of welding it and using the car til it dies
Yea we might have...to be perfectly honest I have no experience welding so unless i bring it to a shop I wont be able to do that. A buddy of mine suggested using a comealong tool to try and pull it the upper rad support bar out....any thoughts if this may work or worth trying at least

yeah but you gotta go slow and have to support the crash bar from crunching. I can see it be done. Put it back the most you can. Use the car til it dies. I know I would.
Yea if it comes to it I will have to part it out.....it be alot easier if i had a garage to do it.in.and store parts but my townhouse does not....only a spot in front of the house where the car is now so thats why trying to sell as is...that and in the right hands this car could be back on the road in no time.
Yea the elantra sport is a fun commuting car....altho i commuted to and from manhattan for 7 years in my SS. Elantra has 201 hp and 195 ft/lbs....they finaly put an IRS which makes a huge difference in the corners

When u are referring to the crash bar....what do you mean....not the radiator support bar right?
