there is this car worth 11k? its about 2 hours away, i drove it the other day it was pretty smooth, had some trouble getting it into 5th gear for some reason. has a hurst short throw shifter, aftermarket torsion bar and i think that is it. leather seats, no LSD or recaros. i really dont know if it is worth it i cant talk her down she is pretty firm at 11 to pay off bank. let me know what you think the car has around 63,000 miles on it.

11k for private seller? hell no. thats dealership territory. if the motor blows tomorrow your **** out of luck. i wouldnt buy it. hurst shifters are hard to get into gear. i have one and i ******* hate it.

Absolutely not. It's not your fault shes upside down in it. I don't know how concerned you are with the 5th gear issue, but that'd be a read flag right there IMO. Add in no Recaros or LSD and you're looking at $7-$8k tops.

 

def, not worth it, i sure as hell wouldn't do it. another 5k and you can get a ss/tc which is a way better deal

 

There are far too many Cobalts for sale where the person selling it expects to get what's still owing on the loan and the resale value is no where near what's owing on it

Those are def Malibu SS wheels, and its def not worth $11k, especially with 68k and no LSD

 

yeah i thought they looked different when i drove the car and yes the exhaust is very loud and very rice like. she said she had a silencer for it? dont know if it would make much of a difference but im done looking at the car anyway. thanks for the input.
