Hello all.
I sold my 2006 cobalt SS coupe a couple years ago and would like to get another cobalt SS. I was unaware that there were turbo Sedans until recently. I know there are the 2.4L sedans and 2.2L "sport" model sedans also. Both of those models are worth discussing, but I am particularly looking for a 2009 Turbo sedan.
Needs:
- Sedan
- "Close" to WNY area. I travel to the NYC area every couple months, so anywhere between Buffalo and NYC is doable. Surrounding states are also doable if the seller is willing to work with me. Shipping is an option, but one experience with a car ship was negative (the car was not a nice driving car, no way to know that in advance...bad).
- 100k miles and under
Preferences:
- Turbo sedan from 2009
- Sunroof
- Less than 75k miles
- mostly stock
- stock rims
- high rise sedan spoiler
No definitive preference on color. As long as the car hits the needs list the color doesn't really matter, especially with how rare there are in the first place. In general I would probably prefer a color other than white or victory red, but they aren't deal breakers. I'm not super fond of the victory red cobalts I've seen in person. Then again I have only ever seen plain jane red non-SS cobalts. maybe a nice SS sedan would change my opinion. I really miss the Sunburst Orange Metallic, that was a beautiful color

If you google production numbers, you will find a thread on this board. Here is what I see - there were 474 SS/TC sedans made in 2009. So you are trying to find one of those 474 cars (some of which are wrecked or completely molested). Almost all of them had grey interiors. Almost all were similarly equipped ... a few had some sort of radio option. Slim pickings on the SS/TC sedans. They are out there, but not too many. Good luck ... be prepared to travel (+/- 1000 miles ought to do it).

All the information is there ... options, colors ... Chances are you will find a Sedan in black, silver or red (~40 or less made in each of the other colors).
