Deal of a lifetime silver cobalt sssc 2006

Ok I have a 2006 chevy cobalt ss sc g85 option 80k plus miles it mostly highway, wingless with evo mod, has k&n typhoon cold air intake, 80lb injectors, I can have it tuned on either e85 or gas which ever you prefer, it get 22 mpg on e85 and 35 ish on gas, 2.8 and 2.7 pulleys for it. I have a pulley changer tool. Otto stage 2 tranny mounts, zzp stage 2 axles, zzp mid length header with 3in dp and stock cat, custom 3 in cat back with huge magna flow resonator and greddy muffler. custom made hurst short throw shifter, pilot pedals, stereo delete.

Now I had a tranny built for it to withstand 400 hp and it worked great for 3 months but will no longer shift. I have no idea what the problem is at this point I just need to get rid of the car. It has new oil, oil filter, spark plugs, shifter cables decent khumo tires and a fresh tune
I also have stock parts if the buyer would like. You can get a used replacement tranny from zzp shipped to your house for 700 bucks. I don't know if that's what it needs but it's an easy fix. I'm asking 6000 bucks but please make an offer I'm trying to sell this thing quick so I have money for my wedding. Any questions or comments please contact me through pm or email hawkesb3@yahoo.com. Pictures are in my link.I have more pics upon request. Thanks for looking.

So how's this a deal of a life time, it has no working tranny as you say. Even with a working tranny it's not worth $6K

So your saying that 6 k is too much for a clean ass cobalt but I have seen Hella Balts in way worse shape than mine sell for way more. At most it would be like a grand for a shop to fix. Its prob just the shift fork. which would be around 7k for a bad ass car. Sounds like a kick ass deal to me. What would you sell the car for just wondering ?

I am curious as to what exactly makes your car clean?

Yes it has the m62 on it and it halls ass. But I don't see how you expect me to deliver if the car can't drive? I would be able to deliver if you are able to pay for the tow to your location. Ialso can't see taking less than 5000.

It is a very well maintained car always put the best parts in it and always taken care of. Royal purple oil changes every 3k miles plugs tire rotated fully detailed every weekend etc. I love this car to death. wish I could keep it but cant

If you can't deliver the car because it doesn't drive then someone would have to pay for a trailer or pay someone to haul it because they couldn't drive it either. You're asking $6k for a highly modified car with over 80k miles that needs a tranny; where's the deal? Most people want a car as close to stock as possible. When a transmission that was rated to withstand 400hp dies after only three months (and you're no where close to 400hp), it indicates to me that you beat on this car.

aw comon guys haha. dont be dicks. he's in a hard place cleary and i agree selling a car modified not the best idea, id demod it first ha and then talk about the tranny having a problem but the biggest problem with this would be selling it since it doesnt drive.. not sure how that would work. it would be a **** load of money in towing fee's. but i hope you get it fixed man. best of luck on the sale.

Just for all the haters lowered the price to 5 k obo and no I do not beat on this car it was my daily so **** off. I did take it to the track occasionally it ran mid 13 s with me babying the **** out of it off the line. And if you think this is a heavily modded car you need to find another network. This is a completely stock motor with only injector and pulley swap and a few bolt ons.

If the car wasn't beat on as you claim, then who ever "built your tranny to handle 400hp" did a shitty job if it died after only three months of you "babying it", and having less than 400hp. And don't get butt hurt because you're selling a car that isn't worth your asking price and people are pointing it out.

def a good deal for a g85 with only a trans problem thats ready for e85 or gas. i see 100% lsj's with same mileage selling for 9k+, a broken trans does not decrease the value of a car more then 4k... you people are just ******** lol. if the motor was blown i could see selling it for very very cheap. GLWS dood def

If you were closer i would pick it up for 5k. Simply put, its to far. Id have to drive my trailer down and get it.

5k is a good deal, but a tough market to sell it to
