FS: 1987 Mistubishi Starion

My friend is selling his 1987 Starion. He bought it about six months ago with the intention of using it as a project car, but decided he wanted to go the easy (*****) way and buy an SRT4.

He says the engine runs well and pulls good. You can see that there isnt any visible rust.

The car will obviously need new paint.

Specs:

2.6 Liter - 4 Cylinder (sister engine to the EVO engine)
SOHC - MPFI
Turbocharged
150 horsepower
Five Speed Tranny
Rear Wheel Drive

Nice call!! This is a little ways away. Does he have this posted on any of the Starquest forums? Also, it looks like it is TBI not multi port, unless I am seeing something wrong. Is it driveable? Right now I don't have a car trailer to haul it. Does he have anything done to it? Do you know if it still has a jet valve head?

Also, forgot to ask. Do you know if this is an SHP car?

It's driveable for sure, i dont know to what extent as i have never ridden in it.

He hasn't posted it anywhere else yet.

I just pulled the info off wikipedia and a couple other sites, but now that you mention it, it is TBFI.

I think all he has done is an intake and fart cannon.

I dont know what a jet valve head is, but i'm sure most of the things on this car are stock.

What is SHP?

Doesnt look like SHP 8/9" wheels. Those look like standard 7/8's...Its definatly TBI, with a OVCP and blow-off valve. All the other intercooler piping appears to be factory soft pipe. Looks like its stock otherwise, besides the fart can on the end of the factory pipe. Also looks like the front chin spoiler is missing.

Is he open to offers? Is it driveable? Located in New York?

Like i said, it def drives, it doesnt have any major problems, but even the most minor problem could cause a car driveablity issues. (my honda stalled halfway home from its 200 mile trip after i bought it because the ICM has intermittent problems)

Its located in Oneida NY

He's open to offers, but he really needs money right now, so he doesnt want to go to much lower.
