FS: 2008 Cobalt SS T/C w/Brand New LDK + More
Well, this is my 2nd time around in the LNF game, with my second 2008 Cobalt SS. I purchased this car a little over a year ago after finding the car on Craigslist with a blown motor. I figured I would pick the car up for cheap, slap a motor in it, and be done with it. Well...that didn't happen. At all. I decided I would keep the car, so decided to change EVERYTHING else while I was at it too. After getting it on the road, however, I just don't enjoy it as much as I did 4 years ago with my first one ... that's why I'm selling it. Here's the details on the car:
2008 Chevy Cobalt SS/TC, 113K miles (will go up, it's my DD)
Black with black interior
Pics can be found HERE
Here is everything done BRAND NEW in the last 1000 miles:
- LDK COMPLETE crate motor from ZZP - intake manifold, injectors, etc - the works.
- GM LNF clutch
- GM LNF flywheel
- Radiator
- AC Condenser
- AC Compressor
- Starter
- Alternator
- Belt
- All hoses and plastic Tee's/Fittings
- GM Upper motor mount
- GM rotated trans mounts (the upgraded ones, 2nd release)
- GM front and rear springs
- AC Delco front struts and bearing plates
- AC Delco rear shocks
- Powerstop Drilled and Slotted Rotors all the way around
- Powerstop street performance ceramic pads all the way around
- BFG Super Sport A/S tires all the way around
- GM tire pressure sensors all the way around
Now for the mod's that were on the car when I got it...
- Triple A-Pillar w/stock boost gauge and 2xAeroforce's
- TWM short throw shifter
- Momo e-brake handle
- Shorty antenna
- OEM high rise spoiler
- TurboXS charge piping
- GMS1 tune and sensors
- KN Typhoon air intake
- ZZP Intercooler
- Gen1 Projector headlights w/Morimoto HIDs
As you can see, the car is pretty much brand new, except for a few suspension components and the body itself. I have taken the seats out, shampooed and scrubbed them down to look brand new, then did the same with the carpet while the seats were out. As the car was finished when it got cold, I only had a chance to clay bar it, apply cleaner wax, then a 3m paste wax, then a sealer. I planned to do a full detail in the spring. These pics were taken before I did the quick detailing. The pics also reflect tinted taillights. They have since been removed and replaced with stock taillights.
The car has a little over 1500 miles on it and is still being broken in (I know, I'm ****).
I'm located in Monroe Twp, NJ. Asking $13,500. If you're not interested, or think my price is too high, I kindly ask that you do not post here and move on. Price may be slightly flexible. Trades welcome for select cars - an HHR SS T/C w/manual or a 2008 Buick Lacrosse Super.
Thanks!
- Steve

Bump. Car now has custom retrofit projectors made by Luis Alonzo, made from brand new Depo SS-smoked headlights.
Price is lowered to 11K FIRM. This is my bottom dollar price on the car. About 2k miles on it since the post. Car has 0 issues. PM if interested. Thanks for looking.

I really don't care if I get love or not. For what is done to the car, it is well priced. If you or some else may think otherwise, that's their prerogative, and it's wrong. Basically, whoever is not interested should move on. Simple as that. People are asking 10k for a POS with 100k everything. I ask 1k more and almost EVERYTHING is replaced brand new GM/Delco, and I'm overpriced. Whoever says it is overpriced can go scratch. Period.

A car is worth what someone will pay. Haggling should be done by pm. If a price is wrong, the seller will figure it out on his own. I care because sometime I may sell my car and I'd like the best price possible for it.

More like this site is full of looky-loos that feel the need to comment on what they think the price should be. Which is 1. Ironic considering slowbalt is about to drop an engine in a car he just bought earlier this year or late last year and will have spent more than this car's price all said and done, and 2. When people say a price is too high they're devaluing their own car when it comes time to sell.

Apologies for the rude comments, ls5454ss!
I believe you can get 11k for it. It looks great and seems newish. A person that knows what they want should pay.
All this said, PLEASE PM me when you can upload the pics into this thread. photobucket account and IMG codes is how we do it here.
Gotta lock the thread for now due to this requirement not being met. Rude posts have been deleted.

Excellent tread life...yes that whole list except the aftermarket parts was replaced within that time frame. The car is my daily driver so there is about 3 to 4k miles on it now. Price lowered to 9500.
