honestly guys, theres no need to badger the OP. As he stated its a asking price, who in their right mind as a buyer wouldnt negotiate? J christ you act like 5 year olds. My dealer ship wanted 24k for my ss, but I offered 21 out the door...and got what I wanted..so please stfu and live in the real world here.

 

+1...thats the way the car business works. You dont ask for what its supposed to sell for, because then when the customer tries to negotiate you either look like a dick for not negotiating, or if you do negotiate you end up lower than you should.

Like northvibe said, when I bought my car they were asking somewhere in the high 23k range, and I got them down to 20.5k. Thats just the way the game goes....

anyway. for those who said it would never sell for that, after I finished up my deal with my customer buying the ZR1 in my showroom. I rolled the SS cobalt out right after that... and I had a sale price of $300 under my asking price on the forum..

the car is SOLD! signed and delivered.. sorry next time I get a used or new cobalt SS in, I wont be posting it on here.

BTW wantedSS... I don't work for thomas chevy.. but I can almost promise you have at the very least heard about me if you know anyone at RPM or anyone that knows my Z06 in the area.. next time you should watch what you say when you don't know who your talking to.

Ive never jammed anyone or tried to stick someone with a car. I always take care of friends and refferals and you can ask anyone that knows me.. im very very fair when it comes to business, sometimes a little to much.

Awesome to hear! Now that the SS are becoming rare new cars it will be easier to get a higher price. Dealerships need money too. And quite honestly a SS under 25k is a good deal for what you get lol jeez some people.
