Guaging interest: 2008 Cobalt SS (Sport Tint Coat Red)
Looking to find out if there's any interest here. I've got a potential car I'm interested in and would like to avoid getting ripped on a dealer trade-in.
Car sits with about 64K miles on it. Tuned it myself with HPT and it puts down just a touch more than a GM stage tune (verified on ZZP's dyno). Mods include charge piping from ZZP, ZZP inlet elbow, Treadstone intercooler, ZZP catless downpipe, Eibach springs, and of course the new wheels (PF01's), which are wrapped in Star Specs. OEM wheels have snow tires with approximately one season left on 'em.
Recent service - I had the dealership redo the brakes last weekend. Got 63,xxx miles out of the factory brakes with ~4 autocross events included in there (so you know they were mostly highway miles). Earlier this year, a new OEM clutch was put back in the car as well. I had a ZZP/South Bend clutch in there with plans to take the car further. But, decided not to afterall as this is my daily...not my racecar.
Don't get me wrong, it moves out pretty good (surprised a couple of C5's pretty good when they were pulled on on the highway
) and usually takes 1st in class at local auto-x events. But, it's done in a bit of a conservative manner (i.e. boost comes on nice and smooth to eliminate spikes).
Anyway, other std options include moon roof & limited slip diff plus all of the normal stuff (PW, PL, PM, MP3 multi-disc, awesome seats, etc.). I figure with an all in price (wheels, spare parts, etc.), I'd like to get $14k. So...I guess that's what I'm asking. Any interest??

The price seems fair considering the mods, tune, and condition. You mentioned the dealer doing the work... Do they know about the tune? If so, the warranty might be affected at the least... If not, then having a warranty would definitely increase the value for me...
It is tastefully modified IMO. I'd be interested but I just got an 08 recently myself.
GLWS!

I've flashed the stock tune back in the car when taking it back to the dealership and/or participating in auto-x events. 2nd gear will break the tires loose and having traction/being smooth on the course is key to putting down a good time.
As for the dealer, I don't always know the tech that may work on the car. So, rather than giving him or her the opportunity to question things or possibly take advantage of the fact that the car is pretty quick, I'd rather spend 30 seconds flashing in the OEM tune to slow things down touch (not to say all techs take customer cars for a "joy ride" - I'd just rather limit the opportunity for something to happen). To date, no issues have been raised to me about not performing a requested repair on the vehicle due to a voided warranty. Just this year, I had them replace the stock intercooler because the shitty plastic end tanks cracked. When it happened a 2nd time, I installed the Treadstone unit. All has been good since...

Yes - they come with tires and TPMS sensors.
Keep in mind:
PF01's go for $300 new
Z1 Star Specs go for $200 new
TPMS's go for $40 new
Forget shipping at time of new purchase...
Given the shape of these wheels/tires, I'm not entertaining offers that has me walking away with any less than $1500 in my pocket.

The car is very likely to be sitting down @ Varsity Ford. If you hurry, you might be able to catch it before it goes. If you're that serious, I know a few guys that work there and would happily make a call.
