Yeah I guess if you don't have the spare time to fly or drive down then it wouldn't be a bad idea, but to me 1400 is a good chunk of money.

Take your time and find an evo and don't look back. You'll be happy with it but it will take time and to get the best deals is to travel. Nebraska = AWD. Plus it's esay to get 400+hp or 500+hp, well easier than an cobalt.

 

Yeah, but for some reason I just love the cobalt. The fact that its cheaper and not many people know about the SS/TC so it's kinda a sleeper. With a high horsepower EVO I could see myself getting a few speeding tickets haha. I'm still considering the EVO, because of the high hp potential, it's sexy as hell, and AWD.

I owned 3 because they are my favorite car hands down but they are also very unreliable unless they are stock and insurance/maintenance is very expensive also making the car not worth the high price tag...sold the mr a couple months ago it was the best looking one ive had and set it up for e85 put down 397awhp/430wtq at mkc but blew up shortly after it was tuned...needless to say dont take your car to mkc if you like your motor

 

Well if your setup is right and tuned real well it should be reliable. With all the supporting mods it should last unless you BEAT the **** out of it and the setup is garbage. Just like any other car is the same. I know an handful off 400+hp DD evos and an 500+hp that last and had for 3+ years. Ones built by ams and the other by ICS and tuned very well by Al from dynoflash. Thats all I have to say
