Plug in the numbers. And it does it mathmaticly so it'd have to be a 100% perfect run. At 3900 pounds with 393 WHP it comes up with a 12.51. M/T tires or not I can't see it happening. Yes its a damn nice car, I'm not disputing that. But something doesn't add up.

Ahhhh that makes better sence now. You gut it to go to the track to get it to 3300 pounds. Ok, that I'll buy.

Don't even bother arguing if you actually think that junk is accurate. You obviously don't have much track experience so i'm not going to even keep this goin. My car ran 12.60's on street tires and bolt ons, full weight, 352rwhp. meet me at 66 next tuesday and then argue after.

No your not, its easy to miss things on-line. BTW at 3700 pounds it has you at 12.29's. Still not bad for such a nice car.

Well.. see, the D1 sounds like a good idea when i start thinking about it.. but then I think about my ring gear shearing into a million pieces, and my shortblock popping... and the $5-8k I'll spend there.. i'll be $35-40k into this thing... that's when I start thinking about how nice them c6's are maybe a used c5 and a procharger would make me happy...

I wish but I'd have to leave now to meet you this weekend! That and at only 12.8 as my best time so far it would be a waste for us both in the gas department.

Don't they make a rear end cover for your 10 bolt that has the girdle built on like they did for the older 10 bolts? I know it held mine together for YEARS without any problems.

I've got one on there.. i still don't trust it though the smaller cross sectional area of the ring gear doesn't change so all i've got goin for me is that the automatic is easier on it with less shock load

Nice Clean LS1 man. Wish I had the money to buy it. Still wouldn't beat my buddy's built LT1 but I could take his 01 Z28 in a race if I had that car HA!

DUDE! You'll be fine. I was putting down 550+HP and 600+TQ at the wheels at dynoed by HOT ROD mag on the power tours and mine held up fine. Wait do you have a 7.5 rear? Cause yeah that coould be an issue.

Ok that could be an issue then. Your NOT planning to run slicks or DR's I hope cause your begging for problems if you do. Especialy with those HP figures.
