Selling my car to buy Balt

I have a 1993 Pontiac Sunbird LE coupe. It has the 3.1L V6. With the V6 it gets great gas mileage. It gets about 24/30 MPG. The car is in great mechanical condition. Everything on this car mechanically is sounds. The car has had it's oil changes every 3,000 miles since my family bought it new in 93. Has a new cd/mp3/ipod ready stereo w/sub. New battery, new brakes front and rear, tires are in good shape and also has a good inspection sticker. Everything WORKS! Body has some rust with a rust hole in the trunk that isn't visible. Your usual wear and tear is visible for it being a '93 model.
all around this was the perfect first car for me, i loved it. Having the V6 made it a quick car and fun to drive. The car is in great physical and mechanical condition considering it being a '93. $2000 obo, i am willing to talk about the price

You might find someone to take that car on a trade for a balt.

Dig through the FS threads and find one you like. Then make the owner an offer.

Most people sell their cars because they can't afford them or are moving on to other projects.

lol would people really want my car as a project car?

i mean it's a good car especially for a daily driver and it's gets better gas than people would think (i spend like $30 every 2 weeks going back and forth to school and work)

lol thats tight. ya i love my car, and if i do end up getting an LT and not an ss i'm going to have to get used to not having the quickness i have in my car now lol. i test drove an LT and i was like ummm is it going to go anywhere or what? but whatever a few mods would change that.

the 3.1 just has torque, the ls has more hp then the 3.1 though, so in the 1/4 mile they would be pretty much equal .

i used to own a 93 beretta with a 3.1, almost identical car to a sunbird, its just the torque lol, they're arent faster though

sold it for $2800. Cars go for more in Canada, also it had $1000 rims and tires on it, $500 JVC stereo in it and not one spec of rust on the whole thing, it was mint in and out, i just wanted something newer.

the 3.1 in your car is rated for 140hp and about 180ft/lbs of torque, thats why it feels faster then the 2.2 auto which is 145hp and 155ft/lbs. So it will feel slower because of the lack of torque compared to your current car, but its about the same and will get better gas mileage.

Try lookin for a cobalt SS with the 2.4 its a nice motor, cheaper then the SS/SC but will have more power the the lt/ls models that got the 2.2. Can you drive 5 speed?

heres a few

thats pretty cool. ya i'm trying to get around 1500 for my car. and ya i was looking at getting the 2.4, and all of those that you posted all seem like good ones. i've called on 3 of those and the 4 door the guy NEVER responds to his email so i gave up on him. and the one with the high rise for 13,5 is for sell by a crooked and bankrupt chevy dealership lol. and the black one with the low rise for 12,5 is what i'm lookin at getting. it's at archer Volkswagen. so we'll see here real soon
