totaled it 2 weeks ago on friday. basically to make a long story short i had the cruise control set at 80mph which is 10mph over the stated speed limit. i changed lanes and started making a pass on a semi truck. as soon as i got the back of the trailer he swirved over and hit me. the ibc beam went through the radiator core support and hooked the car. i broke it loose from the trailer and he hit me again and the car spun out so i wasent able to get the trailers plate number or anything. he kept driving too.
^^^^^^^ not posting pics. they dont do the damage justice. 21k in damage + without even tearing into the car.
i have a ton of parts sitting here that i can 100% guarentee 3/4ths of the cheap ass people who own these cars wouldnt be able to afford them. like the crawford composite honey comb carbon splitter, hood, trunk, blade spoiler, roof strakes, koni challenge lip and so forth. i wouldnt sell the parts for cheap by all means let alone give them to someone who i dont feel deserves them. ive dont a TON of research and a TON of work and i have more time into this car then most would know.
i did want an evo.... problem is if i buy one ill build another 1000hp monster not a 450hp dd that can see track days and long trips. i dont drag race this car so i feel its honestly good for what i want. i have a subaru and z28 too so yeah haha.
nope most of the parts are getting swapped over and like stated above most cant afford the stuff.
would like to try and stay away from cars that have been modded and tuned by someone other then me. not saying your cars been molested by all means. but i dont need a DIY gone bad and i dont need issues with the first week of owning the car either.
basically im trying to find a lightly modded or bone stock lnf. i will not even consider yellow red or silver. white or maybe another black one. im un sure.
I dont consider mine anything but lightly modded. lol pipes and exhaust with trifecta tune. Brand new warrantied motor after having the porous block issue. Its garaged kept 24/7 and only has 16k on the body. 12k was the first year since it was "new" to me

thanks man. yeah **** happens and unfortunately it happened to me. what can you do though? the major part of my setup is in tact and im thankful for that. the back order on the efr turbos is now absolutely obserd, and i managed to save mine.
Wow. All that work and an 18 wheeler has to **** it up. Sad to see it man. Hopefully when you get your next one it will be even better. I have the mag your car was in. Now you can be the first person to get two cobalts in a magazine.
We will see.... im weery since u had a trifecta tune... guys a good programmer but not a good tuner imo. Atleast you didn't exceed more then what the turbo can handle. Ill keep an eye out
