Wrecked 2006 Chevy Cobalt SS

THIS IS NOT THE SUPERCHARGED OR TURBO SS. Just the naturally aspirated 2.4L Ecotec, 4-speed automatic SS.

Was run off the road into some trees. Most of the body has damage as well as some of the frame. Interior is rough, most of the stereo system has been removed. It does start up and run great though, doesn't even throw any engine or trans codes. Engine and trans are good. Has about 75,000 miles on it. You can start it and drive it around but it is not street-able. Would be good for a donor drive-train or replacement drive train. $2000 OBO. I do have a free and clear title for it. Located in Milton, FL. I can meet someone with it on a trailer within a reasonable distance.

I'm sorry, I should have specified. I'm not parting it out. I'll sell it all or nothing.

Keep it around until I feel like doing something with it. I originally bought it for the drive train with the intent of building a rock buggy. For now though I've decided the buggy needs to wait a decade or so and I'd prefer not to have it sitting in the way. It moves under its own power right now. If I get tired of moving it I'll pull what I need, put it on a pallet, put the pallet on a big shelf, and let it collect dust for a few years until I feel like building again.

I didn't get run off the road. I bought it from the guy who did. He said it was raining, lost traction, went off the road, ricocheted off a few trees. Judging by the number of red solo cups on the floor boards when I got it I drew some of my own conclusions beyond that but I didn't really care as all I wanted was the drive train and that is all good. I drove it onto my trailer and took it home. I pull it in and out of my shop every day that I work there, which is multiple times per week. There's no paint from other vehicles and all paint damage that does exist looks exactly like tree / branch scuffs so I think he was telling the truth about what happened, just left a small part out.

The front right a arm is bent. I haven't had it checked out by a frame shop or anything but that is all I am aware of.

Yes. It won't go on right now though because the bent a arm moved too far back into the wheel well for a full size tire to have space.

Motor is stock, untouched.

I have no way to verify that no wheels are bent but there are no visible bends.

I'm thinking about finally actually using the engine in something. If I do I will start parting it out.

Sorry, I lost track of this. I am starting to tear it down now to get the parts I want out of it. Stuff I am keeping includes engine, trans, ECM, TCM, wiring harness, CV shafts, shifter and cable. Most everything else is available. Let me know what you need ... I will get pics up again tonight.

Perhaps if you tell me what you need I can get some pics of it right now while I am sitting in front of it? The car lives at my shop which is 30 minutes from home. I only go to the shop once or twice a week. That means pulling stuff will only happen once or twice/wk as well as taking pics of it. I am at the shop today.
