Wrecked 2009 Cobalt ss turbo. car was totaled and i bought it back, could be fixed with someone with the time and money. The car is going to at least need a new fender, hood, door, quarter panel, taillight, steering wheel, seatbelts, tie rods, air bag and rack and pinion along with a few other things. The good news is the car has low miles 40,000 and runs great other than the steering being messed up. car has polished aluminum wheels with new michelin tires, factory stereo with subwoofer, brembo brakes, boost gauge, 5 speed manual, sport suspension, racing seats, turbo timer, etc. I have salvage title if car would be fixed, or I am wanting to sell the whole car before I would part it out. I am asking $3500 firm for the whole car car is valued at $13000 in perfect condition, I am located in thurmont md but will deliver depending on location.

Where are you located? Does the tranny have limited slip?

 

as far as i know it is limited slip, spun both front tires. but i am located in northern md

To me it seems like it could be fixed but thats just my opinion. If you part it out call bids on turbocharged emblems and fog lights

 

It could be, just a lot of work. This would be the car to fix, low miles, right color, fully loaded. If only he wasn't so far away.

 

someone with spare parts and a lot of free time could fix it, all damage is cosmetic other than steering. bad thing is air bag went off so a few other parts have to be replaced as well. not a perfect car to rebuild by any means but still plenty of good parts.

And I'd take the front bumper, even with the holes for the license plate. What would you consider if you don't find a buyer?

 

Put me down for the tranny depending if it has g85 and price, (pm'd op ) but ill make it official on here, also ill take the lnf top grille .

Hard hit to the passenger side, swipe down the side. Looks like damage into the pinch weld, which is why I would assume it was totaled. Front and back bumpers look pretty damn good, if I was closer I would buy this in a heart beat and part it out myself. Interior looks pretty clean, and engine bay looks stock with the standard broken PCV nipple on the intake.
