Here you go. 2006 Saturn Ion 2.4L with a 5-speed, trifecta tune, and short throw. It has some weird electrical issue somewhere. It throws accelerator codes all the time, yet I've replaced the whole system. When it messes up, the car either goes into limp-home or the rpm hang for a second between shifts. Its not undriveable, but annoying considering I paid 9 for it. I'd take 7k, which is what I still owe. That will free me up to buy a C5 Corvette and tune it. Hit me up if you are interested. It has 70k miles, never been tracked, comes with stock wheels/ winter tires and Primax 18s with Kuhmo ASTs. It is a silver sedan that is waxed regularly, and if the issue is fixed, could be a fun sleeper with a great sound. Last dyno'd at 164whp and 163ft-lbs.

Good luck. I just bought into issues. Picked up an 04 Mazda 6S that is eating 3 quarts of oil in single month. I'm guessing PCV valve, but it sounds like there may be a spun bearing somewhere.

Next car is going to be a brand new Nissan Z car. No more *****-footing around lol.

 

PCV?? id say shot rings or valve seals.

 

That's worst-case scenario. The PCV is notorious in these cars. It'll get stuck open and dump oil. I would've noticed the smoke, but I have exhaust dumps. So I wouldn't see it.

 

i have a cobalt ss/sc with 84k miles and going up its my DD... it needs new front axles and the clutch rattles but it drives fine..might just need a clutch disk or some new bolts IDK...id let my car go for 8,500$

MODS: 2.85 pulley, 60# injectors, ZZP shorty header and catted downpipe, fujita CAI, magnaflow exhaust, and OTTP H/E

 

eh 8500 is kinda steep, you can spend 500 more and get a clean on with no issues but if price coems down, id be interested

Hey ive got an 06 SS/SC it is on the forum for sale now. Only one major problem. Needs a new downpipe. has 114k on the engine and body. a few minor dents on the body. Other than that the car is a nice car. Im asking 7500 let me know.

ok guys. after a few months. I am back looking for a banged up blown motor/bad trans cobalt. I just sold off my 05 legacy GT and my 04 cobra vert. so I have CASH burning a hole in my pocket. I will update the thread but i am mainly looking for a turbo cobalt coupe. I will consider a supercharged coupe aswell.
