Hello everyone, I am currently looking to check out the cobalts and in doing so I am selling my 04 SRT-4. I would like to do a straight up trade and I am located in Columbus, OH but willing to travel within reason. Some information about the car-

Still under warranty (fully transferable), just recieved Kuhmo Ecsta ultra high performance all season tires about 300 miles ago, car has 18,200 miles and is in great condition with the exception of a 3'' hairline scratch on the passenger door from what looks to be a key. The oil is changed on a 3k mile schedule with mobil1. Modifications include: AGP adjustable wastegate (16psi), mopar/borla catback exhaust (2.5''), Needswings 3'' downpipe with electronic cutout, quickwhips big front mount intercooler, hks blow off valve, aem short ram intake, custom intercooler piping, jmb oil catch can. Since this is an 04 it does have the 577cc injectors and limited slip. Other than the described scratch the car is in MINT condition. I am looking to sell outright for 16,500 or a trade for a nice Cobalt SS coupe. Oh, and the car has the sunroof and side airbag options with a flame red exterior. I have all the stock pieces and can return to stock if that would help...may take me a weekend to get it done, but I am willing to do it if someone wants it that way

 

Hmmm... as much as I love my Balt... a raw horsepower SRT is Tempting.

 

not what I meant... I chill with a bunch of srt guys.... rule of thumb... never buy a used srt from someone who modded it.... just asking for trouble... I"m in the process of fixing two right now

 

x2, my buddy did that and a month later engine BOOOM!!!! the previous owner beat the **** out of it and rarely changed the oil according to my buddy, luckily the place he bought it from got him a new engine.

 

^^ Well I can assure you that the these mods are not going to blow the motor as I have added about 2 psi and just done basic performance upgrades. The oil is changed regularly by myself and I have several people in the SRT community that can vouch for this car. When hooked up to a buddies wideband a few months ago, the car ran a 10.5:1 so its running rich just as it would stock.

 

bump- car makes 289whp with exhaust open, and 346 lbs of trq

never been to track so I dont know what it would run, but several people on the forums, with a good 60ft and some radials make mid-low 12s. I know someone has to have some interest

If I did sell it, I would buy a balt. A trade would just be the quick way for both parties...Ill keep in touch with you if someone is interested in the SRT.

no worries man wasnt trying to bash you or hender you from selling your car. I just have a rule about buying a used performance car. with some excpetions

 

Oh your fine, to be honest I would not either. That is why I made sure this was not molested with big modifications and always had careful watch over the diagnostics of the car, because if not BOOM like you said.
