no its not that....lol i knw im allowed to stay and i love my srt...but ive been out of work for awhile and scrounging to try and make payments...now unemployment is not giving me anything so im f*cked...jus need to get rid of the payments and get a car in return. my fiance likes the cobalt ss as well and she wants a supercharged one....sooooooooooooo the plan is to get a trade for a ss/sc and then buy a ss/tc when she gets her bonus in 5 months

You couldnt do an even trade. You would have to get the ss/sc plus whatever you owe to pay off your car.

Srt's generally go for less than an SS, well - what I payed for mine anyways.
So I'm trying to find one just to lower my payment some.

I would def do it but I dont see how it would work if neither of us own our cars..

 

There cant be an even trade because he owes money on the SRT-4, even if you didnt owe on your cobalt you would essentially be trading a equal valued car then going 4k or whatever he owes in the hole for the SRT-4.

OP would do best to sell it outright and get something cheap until times are better.
