When the flash is released for download GM Tuner Source and Tom will post a notice and a .pdf of the updated instructions with the calibration part numbers. You then can take your kit instruction with the authorization number for the calibratrion download on the front page to any dealer and to get the calibration down loaded.

You will need the flash to run the sensors properly unless GM changed it, but I doubt it. The new calibration is needed.

Install time is about 2 hours including the download of the calibration. If you did it yourself the dealer would probably charge 3/4 an hour for just the down load.

agreed, especially since you can get a tune for less and gain more HP.

Leave the bashing to the

"Where is the Stage Kit"

GMTunersource threads.

CED is trying to sell a nice warrantied product here.

I am not bashing the stage kit nub...keep you vaginitis to yourself.

550 dollars for some sensors and a flash is expensive.

That is a fact.

It is the price you pay now instead of the price you pay later.

Well I will never say the price is good. Cause I agree with you somewhat, but

A new trifecta tune is $350 without sensors. That gets you more power and a warranty that goes right out the window.

Now I know vince has masked the tune, but we will see if anyone blows up.

vinces full feature tune .. is 350+shipping from trifecta 300 from a dealer and they still have their classic tune for the 200 something it originally was ... and just because it comes from gm doesn't mean they're still going to warranty it if something goes wrong.. I don't think you'll be able to understand the word abuse when they spout it out from breaking something when they have the gm tune on their

Well it really depends on the dealer of course.

I trust mine to death. They even fixed my brake issues under warranty, which is rare.

It is not expensive if you consider that it is 50 state emission legal and keeps the entire vehicle warranty intact.

Tom...I assume you confirmed with GM that this is EXACTLY the same as the kit that will be out for the Cobalt (after all...every indication is that it will have the same part number)? Did you confirm that the cost will be exactly the same?

Is there going to be any disadvantage of ordering today so we will be one step closer to getting it installed?

The kit is the official kit to be used on the Cobalt, the only difference will be the flash that doesn't have anything to do with the part number.
This kit does keep the factory warranty in tact.

Rissa, the sensors are not sold separately, only as part of the kit. The kit also includes a code that will be needed by the dealer when the install is complete.

ok why after clicking the link does it still only say 2007, 2008, 2009, Solstice, SKY, GPX, HHR Stage kit for the LNF 2.0 Turbocharged engine. nowhere in there does it say cobalt!
