Stage kit for the TC LNF released but wait!!!

P/N 19212670 Stage Kit for the Solstice, SKY, GXP, and HHR has been released.

I just want to clarify some things about the kit.

This kit will not work in the Cobalt even if you procure an aftermarket intake pipe.
The flash for the Cobalt is and will be a different flash that is not available to dealers at this point in time.
Please be patient until GM releases the Cobalt kit.

I will update you when I hear when the Cobalt kit is closer to being released.

Cant wait to see this thing come out! We all want one! Thanks for the updates. and one other question... are we calling these stage kits or a upgrade kit. Im assuming we will be lucky to have 1 upgrade kit. no stage 1,2,3. ect.

So when the kit for the Cobalt is actually ready to go...will it be best to order it from CED's website and then take it to your dealer for install? Will a dealer charge you more for the install if you don't buy the part from them?

It probably won't be higher...the reading you did was by someone who didn't have information posting it on this site like they were the head of GMPP...

Well first off its always better to order it from CED, oh wait can I say that?

Install should be about one hours time and that plus labor rates vary from dealer to dealer. Keep in mind this is a kit that needs to be installed at the dealership due to the sensors that come with it.

So can we just order it through CED and get it installed at Rackenbach (sp?)?

numbers where suppose to be 315hp and 340tq. Will wait and see, I think GM is holding off on the cobalt because it was there big project to actually make it a true SS for the 4 cy class. Personally they did so well that all the car review mag reviewer can't get over it still !!

I know alot of people were wondering if that 290 hp was at the wheels or flywheel. Do you know?

Nice...well...keep us posted on the availability and you will have at least one order the day they are released!

I'll order one through CED and drive up the next day to have it installed.

Now do the 09's already come with these sensors and just need like a flash or do they need the same parts that a 08 would need also?

Thanks

No manufacturer what so ever rates horsepower at the wheels. NONE. Period. End of story. I don't know why you all keep asking.
