1/8 Mile numbers

Ok i am going to a 1/8 mile track sunday and was wondering who thinks that i can drop into the 8's? I would love to run a 8.99. My mods are listed in my sig. My last time was a 9.3 bone stock. I know how to launch better now and i am going to lower my tire pressure more and i am also going to take out my spare tire a jack. What do yall think i can run?

nope....I got the 2.4 and I ran a 10.1 in the 1/8....that's the night I ran a 15.91 though on a full tank of 87........You're already close I don't see why you couldn't get those times...it's not impossible. All it takes is a lot of practice

no clue.. but if you 9.3 was stock the 8.99 should be no problem with your mods.

plus a 2.1 60ft is pretty good for stickshift.

that would make sense because your 60ft was .1 faster and your 1/8 mile was .1 faster.

with the mods you have though, a 2.197s 60 ft. should get you to 9.2s 1/8 if you shift well through the other gears

Man I can't figure it out alot of my 60's were around 2.3 my best was 2.1179. On the 2.1 which was my best 1/8 I ran a 9.7095. Now how can I have a decent 60 but such a high 1/8? Also what do yall trap in the 1/8? My trap was 72.84

That is a really low trap, should be about 5mph higher than that. My guess is you're just nt going throught the gears fast enough.

It was my first time to ever race from a dig and I sucked. Spinning tires, missing gears, hitting the rev limiter clutsh slipping. Many different factors all in all I did pretty shitty but it was fun. I'm going to keep going back, with practice I only have room for improvement. The srt I raced was stock and only beat me by a car.

I think you could do it. Hell I never made past the 60ft mark as my axle decided to shear into two pieces! Do it for me man!
