1/8th mile
1/8th mile
what is a good time and trap to have in the 1/8th mile had a lot of fun at my local track last weekend but i have no idea what i should be shooting for stock. best was a 9.7 i think i ran a 9.6 or 9.5 when i ran the 1/4 but i cant find my slip. either way my car is slow as **** compared to everyone else on this site or guessing i can't drive. my best 1/4 was 15.0 with a 2.3 60'
new 1/8 mile times yesterday. was shooting for a 9.5 and ended up running:
60' - 2.258
330' - 6.231
1/8 - 9.451
MPH - 76.09
think it has a little more in it still i was pretty happy. going to shoot for a 9.3 next time.
this is stock with 25,000 miles on the stock pirellis

I ran a 9.7 @ 75mph in the 1/8 on a cold track, no burnout, w/ a broken MAF sensor and my 19"s on, lol. Once I get it tuned, a new MAF sensor and buy some drag radials for my stock 17"s, ill be shooting for low 9's.
I think my 13.86 1/4 mi run had a 9.0X 1/8mi. I was running a stage 2 with 2.9", zzp downpipe with cat, gmpp catback, airbox mod - now i have an aem typhoon, cobra heat exchanger, and a ingalls. You pull a 2.2 60' or less thats pretty darn good. I pulled a 2.2 my second trip to the track each run. Once you get the hang of it you can do it everytime. My first trip i went 2.6 - 2.4 - 2.3 - 2.2 for 60 footers.
Damn! My time sucks. I only kept one slip all year from last season. I got a 2.1 60' but a 9.7 1/8 at 14mph. Ironically, I still managed to pull a 15.161 at 89mph in the 1/4. I must have one impressive car.
Actually, my clutch slipped in my 1-2 shift. Even though the speed reading is off, I bet the time is correct.
