stage2+intake coooouuuuld do better than 14.12 depending on outside factors. but r/t has no effect on your ET during regular TNT and grudge racing. although with grudge racing...you want to leave first so you'll get the win light
As it's already been said, your RT has no effect on your ET, but you want a good RT so you can get thru the beam first. There are bolt on SS/SC's running that fast, you should be into the 13's with ease, just work on your 60' times. What were your 60' times?
Temperature, humidity and 60 ft. times would be nice to know. All 3 factors can make a significant difference in your times from day to day. If it was warm and humid, that's not so good for ETs. Cool and dry is when I get my best times. Oh and the sun needs to be beating on the track on those cool, dry days or it can get slippery.
im a like newbie to the drag racing thing so how do i do that?..lol
btw my cars tire pressure was at like 35 psi off the line i tryed not to let my car wheel hop
and there where a few starts where i would ride the clutch out and the revs would be up but they would catch and kinda bog down ehh bad starts lolall trying not to snap my axels haha

launch better- the first 60 feet are the most important.
i ran a 14.1 with a stock pulley, so with stg 2 you should be into the 13s with some good launching. try and get around 2.1 (or better if you can!) seconds for your 60'

The 60' is how fast you travel in the first 60' feet. You took 2.4 seconds. So you just have to practice launching and you could possible do it in 2.0-2.1 seconds on street tires.
The problem is if you give it too much gas you spin the tires which slows you down.. If you give it too little you bog which slows you down. So you have to get it just right if that makes sense. (So feathering the clutch out and slowly giving it enough gas as needed to stay between bog and spin)

ohh okay and i understand what ur saying..i was having that prb last night..too much ide spin and wheel hop..too little my car would shove foward and bog..
Like others have already said, your 60' is 2.4, which needs to come down. Bring it down to atleast 2.1 and you will see 13.7-13.8 most likely. Fail Wheel Drive cars are hard to launch, especially when they have a decent amount of power. The best 60' I have gotten with my SS/TC is 2.4 aswell, so that is all you really need to work on.
When I ran a couple of 14.2s, all I did was release the clutch like I would under normal driving conditions and gradually applied the throttle. You will lose traction at the top of 1st like I do but as long as you're not smokin the tires off the line, your 60s should go down.
