SS ran a 13.09 at 109 Long tube headers....Mustang ran 12.88 at 114 stock on that pass..The Mustang ran a best of 12.73 @ 115 and my Camaro 12.79 @111

Yep and the mustang is a bone stock auto. I posted it in another thread somewhere. Car trapped 115 on another pass that day.

Im really liking the new Mustang 5.0's Ive never been a Mustang fan untill now.

 

I'm glad ford is getting their little 15 minutes of fame in cause its all gonna die once the 2011 z28 camaro comes out which already has been confirmed to be coming with the cts-v motor supercharged so bye bye 5.0!

 

The Z28 will be direct comp to the Cobra.... Comparing the 11' Z28 to the Mustang GT is like comparing a Corvette Zr1 to the Corvette Z06. Or the Z06 to a Base Vette.

 

Ahh, still getting the un-forged LSA.And when was it confirmed? link? . Anyways check out the 2011 GT500. I don't see it pulling better times.

I know your post is like 5 months old and you may have learned something since then but the Z and the ZR1 are closer in performance #'s than you think. lol

 

Yep. Drag radial only Ranger went 10.74 for the zr1 to a 10.75 for the z06, but the zr1 trapped like 5 mph higher
