Another PB, even though noone cares

Went to the track again today and surprised myself. Last time I went to the track (ours is only 1000 foot) i went 10.97 on my last pass, and was stoked. I never thought my car would run that fast, and i was freaking excited. Anyways, i hit 10.94 twice today haha. i will post up the track vids and slip later, but just thought id share. you can look at any 1/4 slip for comparisons sake. also, on one of them i went 8.59 in the 1/8

edit, video- http://videos.streetfire.net/video/9...6100bafa86.htm

1/8 hovers around 84 mph, 1000 was around 96-97 today. stage 2 car

probably good for 107-109 traps in the 1/4

I know I've asked you before, but what were your mods other than stage 2?

Stu you need to run at 1/4 mile track so we can really compare numbers instead of trying to calculate the numbers. Nice work man.

i have a feeling this track is bogus. A ms3 owner was there the other day as well. Intake/17psi/midpipe and he went 10.8 @ 97. I went 10.8 when i ran 12.9 except i trapped 111mph.

Break this down

my 60 2.01 His 2.00
my 1/8th 8.4 @ 87.7 His 8.5x @ 85.x
my 1000 10.858 His 10.855 @ 97.x

So youre telling me he caught me by the 1000? LMAO
I ended up going 12.90 @ 111, so your telling me that my car picks up over 14 mph in the last 320 feet. Hes going 97 in the 1000 and caught me, meaning im going slower than 97. 111-97 is 14. This track is bogus.

yea its bogus, even though the times mirror results at memphis's track. for instance my buddy runs anywhere from 10.9-11.2's regularly here, he went to memphis ran 11.3 and went 13.3 at 110, with identical 1/8 traps, sounds REALLY bogus. is 14 mph that hard to believe? hell my buddy i was just referring to generally traps 96-98 in the 1000 and he trapped 110 on his run in a balt. get over it laloosh you have no idea on how temp, altitude, or many other factors affect cars. you just get pissed off when people run faster than you or challenge your chain of thought. stop trolling

ok if you think picking up 14 plus mph in the last 320 feet traveling at 97mph at the begining is normal then i guess i got a real strong 5th gear lmao.

Think 87.x to 111 is 24mph in the back half of the 1/8th

the 1/8th as you know it is 660 ft right?
1000-660 is 340 feet. He trapped 85 in the 1/8th and 97 in the 1000. Picking up 12mph in 340 feet at a SLOWER SPEED aka easier to pick up speed. And i picked up 14 mph in the last 320 feet? cmon now man, you cant tell me something is not off.

What do you think is easier going form 87 to 97 or 97 to 111?

way to not take into account powerbands, gear ratios, shifts, or anything else. and i just told you what my buddy has done in comparison to memphis and our track, and there is little to no difference

edit: even if the traps were slightly off, the times are spot on. its been proven with a number of our local guys who go to other tracks and run the same times. its not "bogus" just because times are better than you anticipate, especially considering the lack of knowledge and stubborness you have showed on this board as well as your own

laloosh... does it hurt you he performed this way. does it hurt you in your heart. are you going to have trouble sleeping. have you noticed a significant loss of appetite, libido, or energy?

grow the **** up, just because he beat you. Man up and give props where they're due. I got beat by an accord yesterday on the highway... guess what i did..................

..........gave him a thumbs up :GASP:! for having a beastly turbocharged v6. And I hate losing, but I have an afinity for cars.

funny you say that in a sarcastic way, and then brag about how strong it actually is on the other forum...
