Audi TT?

So one of my buddies says he has someone that wants to race me and that he would smoke me? So I was like okay? What does he have? He has an 02 Audi TT 1.8T with intake and exhaust and it has 90k on it. I told him that I would take him and he doesn't believe me...im gm stage 2, intake, and step 1 colder plugs...what do you guys think?

pretty sure thats AWD.

from a dig you might be screwed, from a roll it might be different.

Yeah it is awd...stock though i did some research and it said its 0-60 was 7 seconds

my dad used to have the version with the bigger motor. that thing was pretty quick, not sure about the 1.8t's.

must say, i do LOVE those cars. my favorite car that i've ever driven.

if its the 225tt then u might be screwed. otherwise if its the regular one, then you only got to worry about if he's gotten it tuned....

The 225hp version is AWD, still not all that quick. The FWD is only 180 hp. Both have the 1.8t, which is very responsive to tuning. Stock, I think you could get them. Tuned, it would be no contest with the AWD one beating you, but the FWD one, might be pretty close.

I fooled around with a buddy who has one (granted I am ss/tc) and it was absolutely no contest. He was flooring it, and I was 3/4 throttle keeping up with him. He has a stock 225hp AWD version.

You should rape a FWD 1.8T with just intake and exhaust. Stock they only put about 160 to the wheels. If its AWD he will take you out of the hole but you should be able to pull and overtake. Provided its just intake and exhaust.
