This happened at Shady Side dragway (1/8th mile) over the weekend... was there with a bunch of Red Line's... I had the back seats, trunk mat, and spare out... was running on 25PSI front tires, & 1/2 a tank of 93 octane... nothin too special.

He out-launched me with his wonderful RWD... I took it easy off the line, not really launching trying to minimize spin (very very little hop thanks to my new Ingalls ETD). Gripped pretty much right off the bat and eased the pedal to the floor. By the end of 1st he'd pulled about a car on me. I shifted perfectly at 6K and was back even with him by the end of 2nd. In 3rd gear he was all mine as I pulled on him to take the win with a 9.5s run.

My first track victory! So I'm pretty damn proud of it. With a little more practice I hope to get my times down by another tenth or so. That Ingalls is really helping out... worth every penny I paid for it.

That I don't have a clue of... the guy wouldn't talk to me afterwards... it was his first run too... he parked the car in the side lot and never ran it again. It either wasn't running right... or I plain out embarassed him with the run-down. It was faded white and looked beat up... the front bumper was not even on the car. You could see on the back where the "turbo" badge and fallen off b/c the paint was all faded around it.
