Burnout
Just don't drive into the waterbox, do a little dry peel to heat up the tires if you want (it really does help when the track is cooler, I was getting .1 better on my 60 fts last year when it was cool out and I did it).
My clutch also started slipping the next day after I was heating up the tires, so do it at your own risk.

i actually did that once...on purpose too. and it worked. i was in the right lane racing some car, i don't remember. and my buddy was next up. except he was in the left lane about to race some sick awd dsm. so i rolled through the water box. spun the tires. collected water in the rears. and made my pass. needless to the workers didn't use the turbine to dry the water. my friend makes his pass. the dsm spins like a bitch and it looks my my friend genuinely beat him hahah
true story.
