I actually have 3 shift lights,
the Raptor is my favorite though and I just disable the other 2.

if your reaction time was twice as fast at a .323 you would have crossed the finish line with a 12.962 ! your car is a fast machine. If your reaction time was perfect you would have pulled a 12.639. thats the true number that your car is capable of. Nice.

nice run man

BLKblurr06 - reaction time has no effect on the ET . The ET timers starts the second u leave . Reaction time is just time it took u to trip the ET timer after the light turned green .

it's pretty easy to install, I was fortunate to have that convenient spot to mount it in the Redline, it fit perfectly in the hole there where the hazard switch was.
I guess the only fiddly part is running a wire through the firewall and tapping into a signal wire, but that's about it.

nice run man. with those mods though it has to be the slicks giving you that kinda time down the track. I think us cobalt owners should stop beating up our cars on the stock tires and just buy dr's

WRONG

Reaction time has no effect on the ET.

You should know better than that too Andrew

But anyways... AWESOME RUN MAN!!!

Sounds like you still need a new clutch though...

But you can definately give some credit to the air and low altitude on that run eh?? Septemeber cool air.... gotta love it.

Keep up the good driving bud! I expect to see consistant 12s with clutch/flywheel... and upgrading those injectors!!

yeah..yeah...I know a lil sumthin about the r/t...and it would be more important to me if I take up some bracket racing...
sometimes it's better to say a little less, rather than rehash old discussions.

the run was a great surprise that night,
I just never know now when the clutch is gonna grab n go anymore, it happens so rarely for me now, 3 out of the 5 runs that night were complete write-offs due to the clutch, and in fact it started slipping into 3rd gear now...sigh...

but hey, I'll take whatever is left in it, she's been really good to me this season.

yep, the air and conditions had to be perfect that night for the lil LSJ

next season is gonna be exciting, there's going to be lots of LSJ's in the 12's I expect!

I saw the pics of your truck - now that's a real MAN's truck!
holy crap that thing looks like a brute!
very nice !

Great job Atwilson! Can you hear that? Sounds like 12.9's are knocking on your door. Damn good time for the mod list too. Looks like you took a similar route I did, lots of traction assistance/wheel hop eliminators and minimal (but effective) power mods.

Love it man.

yeah that's pretty much the approach I'm working with right now - rather than throwing wheelbarows full of money at buying more and more power, I've been focused on how to harness and use the power we already have as efficiently as possible and get it on to the ground in a useable fashion.

seems to be working - it just takes time to train the monkey that sits behind the steering wheel...

I'll definitely be bumping up the power for next season, all in good time, but I like to feel that I'm making good use of what I have - it's all too easy to get caught up in an endless cycle of vehicle upgrades and completely overlooking the value of seat time and practice.....

I'm using a modified gm stage tune
all of the timing and fuel etc is stock gm stage tune
I have disabled all of the torque mgmt and boost limiting controls
plus I bumped up the rev limit a bit.
