how is reading > me? Im well aware your only calling out Cobalts. I just wanted to throw that in there to fuel the fire, lol.
Im WITH you Raven....have been since day 1. I mean I love my Cobalts, and Cobalts in general. But its just insane how many un-educated car people there really are out there....and on this forum. So many Honda haters.....that need to be shut up, lol. I'm well aware that swapped Hondas (especially hatches, and anything K-series swapped) are hella fast. I've driven my friends B18 swapped EG w/ minor bolt ons (MSD ignition, full exhaust, adj cam gears, intake, AEM pulley set), and that thing was nasty. And my roomates Prelude when he had it (H22 w/ base 'lude tranny for longer gears) ran a 14.1 in the 1/4 ALL MOTOR.........so I know his K20 swapped EK hatch with similar mods (MUCH lighter car, far superior engine) will easily be a 13 second car n/a, and an 11-12 second car with boost. But you just can't pound that into the heads of some people on here.......the people that REFUSE to believe Hondas can be fast.

nothing wrong with a honda tho...they make good power, are light, cheap and pretty dam durable.....hehe...2 civics racing is like 2 butch lesbians going at it....it looks good in the heat of the moment and i'll be damned if the concept doesnt seem great but when you come down to it..its just 2 civics and its just 2 ugly butch chics

Raven is right to be mad... Everyone that owns a cobalt should think like this... If it wasnt for the civic **** any honda there would have been no need for chevy to make a lower priced sport compact... So now matter what anyone on this site says without the civic and imports like that there would never be the cars that you have or the aftermarket industry either

and this challenge is to all members excluding the shop owners/vendors and rod...cuz rod has more money then me so my build will never equal his haha...

I know I just finished defending Hondas and all......
but I just couldn't resist posting this pic being as this is a big Cobalt vs. Honda thread....
This pic was taken after the big VA Cobalt Meet a few months back. Thats my roomates hatch on the flatbed......luckily he has adjustable coilovers, otherwise it wouldn't never made it onto the flatbed. Anywho, his motor died (it had been giving him troubles thanks to a shithouse faulty tune done by Brawning motorsports out here in VA) on the trip home. We (me and my friend Chris) pulled over and called a flatbed b/c his car was making all kinds of terrible noises and shooting out exhaust fumes....and under full acceleration wasn't going anywhere basically. My car and my friend Chris's (NamedGobalt) car are the other two cars in the picture.
