Just like a stock 06' A4 (that's automatic speak) GTO runs 14 flat stock and it is 400 lbs lighter than the Challenger SRT8 so the 25 hp difference is nothing. Gearing is a big factor too. All the mags are talking about the manual SRT Chakkenger running low 13's. In a not realistic world in terms of DA and really cool dense air, such as ATCO, a SRT CHallenger might do 13.3's .
First of all, you have no idea what you are talking about.

Here is an 06 A4 GTO with CAI, Torque management tune and Drag Radials going 12.88 last friday at Pittsburgh Raceway Park.

The youtube video that was posted of the challenger going 13.49 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNyxp...eature=related), that was ME racing him, I was running 13.1's, in the dead heat of summer... I run 12.80-12.81 on good weather nights on street tires.... The Challengers are deep 13 second cars anywhere in the country... 12's at places like ATCO stock.

They need to be put on a diet! They're too heavy stock, PERIOD! Hell my M3 with a baby tune and a K&N drop in filter runs 12.8's @111mph all night long!

The Challengers are heavy.

And the 5th gen Camaro is heavy too. Granted not as heavy as the Challenger but still heavy...

I don't consider a 12.24 blowing the tires off on 6psi slow. With tires, exhaust and a little more boost that car will be DEEP into the 11s.

okay, a "roots" style supercharger. like ours, that bolts directly onto the manifold. is what he's getting. not a procharger like the scion tc's have

i consider seeing two of them running 13.3@113 slow.
auto cars, street tires. 2.0 short times on a none prepped track.

i was there when procharger was testing them at the track.
i was also there when a friend of mine who has been drag racing as long as i have with his procharged 300c srt8 went 12.70@113 over and over and over again.

lol they will run 13.3 bone stock.... donno what was wrong with the cars you saw.

and 12.70 out of a procharged SRT8 300c is pretty pathetic.. I have seen them do that with minor boltons.

Ummm.. PRP is by no means a fast track...

The challenger I raced had 1100 miles on it, stock tires, and a noob driver, and he managed to go 13.49 on a 2.0 60'... on a hot summer night I was running 13.1's which is 3 tenths off my normal.

Ummm the Jeep SRT-8 i raced Friday night ran a 13.0@106 with a Mopar Intake........The SRT-8 cars besides the 300 are pretty damn fast, the times im hearing are crazy on here, everyone i have seen at GIR has run faster then a 13.5 and they trap 105-106 (stock) the jeeps trap less cause they hook up better.

well, I dunno. But at KCIR, I have yet to see a performance car perform what the mags say or what other online people say. I've watched GTO's, the new Mustang GT's, LS1 F-bodies all run in the 14's. Even modded. I've seen modded Charger srt8's go 13.5@105. I've yet to see a 300c srt8 or a challenger srt8 though, and I've yet to see a jeep srt8.

Well I guess you don't know **** then.

Dude its my buddys car I SAW him run it so why don't you stop running your mouth. What you see at your shitty track isn't what every car runs.

I'm sorry your track sucks or what ever the hell the problem is.

The drivers or your track sucks plain and simple. Those times you've posted prove this.

the 300c is on 22's strike one. {told him to get dr's. he didn't want to change wheels}
same trap speeds?

the challenger had 800 miles on it. first car to have the ATI setup on it. same with the 300c.

one of the ati cars was running 14.0@110 all night long because the owner is a tool. a stock one went 13.5. no biggie. he is sort of competent at driving.

the other car. ati's second test car. 13.3 all night.

this is also the same track that stock 6.0 gto's can't break 12's. never said it was atco, or had negative da all the time like some other locations do.

There was a Challenger at the track this weekend, running consistant 14.1-14.2 driven by a vetrain drag racer if that means anything. For reference there were a coupld SRT8 Jeeps running 13.9-14.1. All were stock. DA was around 4500

It is a slow track, higher elevation and poor track prep.
