Cool 10 second street car! Is it just turbo or twincharged? I'd guess just turbo.

No it's not. It's a fully prepped and built GM Racing Block with a GM Racing LSJ based head mated to a GM Racing 4T65 transmission.

He is using a GM Racing 4T65 trans which, IIRC, is setup to use Porsche axles.

I guess your saying it is a 2.0L? The LSJ Head does not make the engine a 2.0L so that is why I am clarifying. You know the block is a 2.0L block?

From what I read about Jasons car is, it was a base model cobalt that they put a lsj motor in.

The GM Racing motor is based off the LSJ motor but it has some changes. The head is just a ported version of your very own LSJ head. Of course everything inside is completely different. The transmission on the other hand, that's a beast of it's own. Completely reworked throughout to hold TONS of power. Man I love that combo.

There's a couple people around who know why I know so much about his car and the combo. Hopefully within 6 months EVERYONE will know why I know so much about it. LOL. I'm getting tired of keeping this secret.

Jason bought a Cobalt, off a dealership lot even and not too cheap because it wasn't a FULLY base model (I know this for a fact), and started his build from there. The motor and trans are all GM Racing parts, not factory parts by ANY stretch.

By base model I am referring to Jason starting off with a 2.2 Eco Cobalt, which is exactly what Jason states on his website.
As for the transmission Jason also states that it is in fact a automatic one, all be it a racing one from GM.
