Cobalt SS/SC vs. GSR integra

ive got this guy at work that is talking crap to me. he has a GSR frankenstein Integra (whatever frankenstein is). and he has a piggyback computer system on there. i told him we would only race at the track and thats in April. Do u think he would stand a chance if i have the stage 2 kit with a 2.8 pulley, stage 2 clutch and flywheel, intake, exhaust?

Who would win? please help me out

hes all laughing at me for spending $25,000 on a 200 hp car. i told him i could have a $3,000 integra with $18,000 motor work. but its still a $3,000 car. lol. hes took his back seat out and everything. i told him i would race him with his back seat in my car. I told him i was going to take my rear view mirrors off so i can lose weight and not have to see him

Frankenstein motor is an LS Integra B18 with a VTEC head from the GSR motor. Pretty stout combo actually. I think an SS/SC could definately take it. Well, at least one that isn't mine since the engine broke!

i don't think you will lose, but i don't think you are gonna kill him either. i've known the frankenstein integra's to be pretty stout. let us know what happens, should be real interesting.

My 96' GSR ran 14.9 all day, it could be a drivers race since most SS's run 15 second 1/4 miles. If your a good drive you will win!

It'll be close. A frankenstein block is actualy a combo of two blocks, thus giving him better torque cause this also could be the bottom end out of a rav4, just dont underestimate him

If it was a stock GSR then you must be a terrible driver.

No, they're not talking about the Celica GT-S race. Also, the GT-S wasn't really "modded out the ass." It had a fuel controller, exhaust, intake and the back seats were removed. The Cobalt that raced the Celica had an intake. Oh yeah, the Celica had just a driver, the Cobalt had a driver + camera dude. That was a good race however.

you can take him even of youre stock. if you have all that other stuff you mentioned then you will kill him! ive raced a civic hatch with a GSR swap, i/h/e, MSD, different plugs and some other stuff. i killed him by about 10-15 cars, it wasnt pretty. i was stock then as well.

B18b is GSR I think. It all comes down on the driver most of the time. Like why can I always beat my friend with an 04 STi from a dig. Because he cannot launch an AWD, and now he thinks my lightly modded SS is a low 13 second car LoL!

it's all up to drivers and tuning. just a gsr isn't going to do much. but a frankenstein is an ls integra with a gsr head and if it has been tuned, it'll make for a tough race. trust me. just make sure you let us know the outcome.
